Welcome!!
It's Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week again! I love this time of the month!! :)
So today we are featuring "Flutter By", a beautiful floral set with really pretty butterflies, flowers and leaves, not to mention the gorgeous sentiments!!
I know most of you already own this set and I've been seeing amazing cards and projects using it so making a card to feautre it that show something new was, honestly, difficult.
But watercolor is hitting hard this season so I wanted to try it myself :) I used watercolor paper, water and mister huey's mists (Heirloom Blue and Custard) and then, after letting it dry, I stamped the flowers and leaves.
I loved playing with mists this way so I ordered more mists and made anoyher card with something like a watercolor rainbow background in my mind. At the end I made this background and I incorporated two acetate butterflies.
The first time I saw acetate butterflies was on Laurel's blog and I loved them, she's such an inspiration! I glued the acetate butterflies to paper butterflies colored with copics and some stickles on their wings. They're really beautiful in real person!! :)
I hope you like my cards and feel inspired but don't forget to visit Lawn Fawn blog to see the projects of the other DT members, they're always amazing!
Oh! And, of course, there are some giveaways going on ;) Don't forget to comment for a chance to win some fabulous goodies on the Lawn Fawn blog!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
