Avery Elle April/May Release Blog Hop

Yay! Welcome to the Avery Elle April/May Release Blog Hop!

Finally all the new release is available on the Avery Elle store, and there are some awesome sets, I tell you!

The set I'm featuring today is called "Weather it" and it's a cool set with a big umbrella and great matching sentiments! And there's also coordinating dies! (I love that sets come with coordinating dies!)
So here's what I made:

I used a stencil with embossing paste, color mists and Stickles to create the rain of hearts, it looks amazing in person! Then I added some felt clouds and the umbrella stamped on patterned paper.

I made another card using watercolors but the colors in this one looks a bit weird and I could fix it grr!

  30. Great cards. the raining hearts are so pretty. I'm going to try that technique. the umbrella with the splashes of color is pretty - even if you are not happy with it. It depicts the blurring of colors due to the rain. thanks for sharing.
