Missing you - AE card

Hi!

I have a card to share that I made in a total Fall mood, I love the colors of Fall and the wind of Fall, that carries all those beautiful leaves and I think it feels a bit nostalgic too so with this feeling in mind I made this card, featuring the super cute More Stories stamp set by Heather Campbell for Avery Elle.

   

I colored everything with Copic markers and cut all the stamped images with the coordinating dies so it was very easy to mount each piece just where I wanted :)
I used some patterned paper from the Avery Elle Every Day collection that I think it coordinates great and then added a rustic touch with the twine.  I hope you like it!

    I love how you created the grass. Can you explain how you accomplish such a realistic yet whimsical look?

    Debra, I used Copics, first I made a solid gradient just near the stamped grass and then I added strokes using lighter greens as I went down to the bottom of the card. The colors I used are: YG17, YG03, G43, G40 and bit of G99. I hope this helps! :)
