I've not been very crafty the past days but I made this little treat box inspired by the current Lawnscaping challenge inspiration photo.
It's pretty simple but I like the cute little birds in love :)
This is what I did: I stamped Lawn Fawn hearts from different sets on the box using Versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder; then I stamped the birds on patterned paper, cut them, stamped again on the box and glue them. I cut a lateral and a top pieces of the box again in patterned paper, distressed the edges and glue to the box. I assembled the box and added the tag and ribbon. Easy peasy!
So I'm joinin the Lawnscaping challenge #27 with my little treat box and because this week the Simon Says Stamp challenge is about love: "Love is in the air", I'm submitting my box for that challenge too. I love their challenges but I can't participate as much as I would like due to lack of time.
I also made a pair of tags using Lawn Fawn's "Love 'n breakfast" set and I hope I'll take them some pictures soon to share with you!
- Lawn Fawn stamps: "Critters on the farm", "Bake me a cake", "Love 'n breakfast" and "Making frosty friends"
- My Mind's Eye patterned papers: "Love me"
- Memento ink "Tuxedo black"
- Versamark ink
- White embossing powder
