This is my second post today so if you're here to see my Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Journaling Card project, just click here or scroll down :)
Today I have another project to share with you, have you seen the amazing new release from Avery Elle? Well, my card today features Write It, a stamp set with gorgeous calligraphic sentiments. It remembers me about some old books of accounts written by hand from my great-grandfather that my aunt show me some years ago :)
I used watercolor paper, heat embossed the sentiment on the border and colored over it in a messy way. Then I sew a heart on the bottom and glued a wood veneer one.
I found that if the watercolors stain your white embossing, when everything is completely dry you can use an eraser to clean it! :)
Hope you feel inspired! Go and check out what Caryn have for you too on the Avery Elle blog!
Supply list:
- Avery Elle stamps: Write It
- Versamark ink & white embossing powder
