A pair of sweet cards

Now that I finished sharing my Christmas projects it's time for other kind of stuff!

Last week I couldn't make a single card :S After all Christmas ideas and creations it was like... but is there anything more than Christmas?? And it seemed my mojo totally left me alone... with nothing crafty to do... Well, I've been practicing my caligraphy a bit haha

Finally it seems that inspiration is coming back and I've been able to create this Valentine's card with one of my Avery Elle all time favorites: Ellie the elephant (it even sounds the cutest!!). The new Favorite Person stamps are just the perfect sentiments with the perfect font to finish off this sweet card. I hope you like it!!

I first stamped the background with all the different sentiments (I've seen this on ascrapbooking layout and loved it so much!) and then used my Picket Fence paint to tone it down a bit. I colored Ellie with copics and the scalloped heart with Distress inks.

I'm also sharing this card that I forgot to publish on my blog (Christmas rush, you know u.u) using the new and super cool Letter Balloons dies with the hedgie from Hedgehugs.

I colored the background with watercolors and the hedgie and balloons with Copic markers.

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a nice start of the year!! :D
