Best Dad - Monochromatic Father's day card

Hi there!

Today I'm on the Avery Elle blog sharing a Father's Day card featuring the Dad and Mom stamps and dies.

I went for a simple look and made a monochromatic card, using only kraft tones but, because I didn't want the card to be boring, I chose a fun sentiment and added some dimension and texture.

I die cut the frame 3 times using the Diagonal Stripes dies and I did the same with the Dad word so those parts are popped out. Then I added some wooden stars and natural cord to finish it off.

Masculine cards are a big challenge for me, lucklily, my boyfriend loves my cute and colorful cards but I think this is a good card for those men that wouldn't like a cute or colorful card or maybe for an old man. And I just simply love that sentiment :)
