Avery Elle #TBT - Write it

Hi there!!

It's #TBT at Avery Elle blog today! So we are featuring an old set and this time the star of the show is Write it!

I made a card using one of the gorgeous scripty sentiments of this set and combining it with flowers from Fabulous Florals.
First I created an ombre background with watercolors and when it dried I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.



I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves with Avery Elle inks (there is an amazing and really wide range of colors available!) and finally aranged them to frame the sentiment.

I added a bit of white liquid enamel here and there and distressed the edges of the watercolor paper. I really had a great time making this card, I enjoyed every part of it! :)

Avery Elle February #TBT: Happy Easter

Hi there!

Arg... You know when you write a post and program it and then you don't click the publish button? Great, huh? Well, that happened to me and this post had to be published on Thursday, oopps... Sorry!!

Today is a special day at the Avery Elle blog because we're starting a new and fun eveent the first Thursday of each month, we'll be featuring a previously released product, combining it with new stuff and giving new inspiration on how to use it (and there will be giveaways too!).

This month is the turn of Happy Spring stamp set, a fun set and just in time for preparing your Easter projects ;)

I made a simple card full with pastel colors, my favorites for Easter. I added papers from the Sorbet and Everyday collections and that pretty scalloped border from Dotteed Borders. I hope you like it!
