Texture anyone? Lawnscaping challenge #88

Hi there and happy Monday!!
It's time for a new Lawnscaping challenge! Do you love to add texture to your cards? Then you're going to love this one! Just be creative: Felt, cork, ribbon, embellishments, embossing... Sounds fun? I really had fun making my card :)

I made a baby card using Hello Baby stamp set, this set is super cute and I need to use it more!
I cut  wide stripe of vellum and colored it with blue Distress ink. The bunny and umbrella were colored with Prismacolors and Gamsol. But this was all about texture, isn't it? So I cut some felt clouds and grass and added glossy accents to the hearts and umbrella.

Happy Shower

Here's a closer look so you can see the pretty shine of the glossy accents on the umbrella and heart-drops. Oh! I almost forgot! Some more texture! Just look at that cute mini pompom on the bunny!

Critters in the 'Burbs - Lawn Fawn Inspiration week

Hi!
It's last day of June Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and today we're featuring all the new coordinating dies from old sets: Critters in the 'Burbs, Critters Down Under, Critters on the Farm and Plus One.

For my card I'm using Critters in the 'burbs, there are lots of cards using this set out there but I never get tired of it, it's a favorite and a must have! Don't you think?

When I saw these sweet cards from Humblechan, I knew I wanted to use that sentiment in the same way, I mean, what a super sweet card to receive when you adopt a new friend, right? Also, I always loved her cards, she's one of my favorites and I know her love for animals just sums to it :)

Happy adoption

I wanted to keep the card simple, the background is colored with watercolors, I wanted it very soft, and then, yep!! No Copics on this one!!

After two months of waiting I finally have my box of Prismacolor pencils!! Yaaaay!! I was thinking a lot about purchasing them or not, they're not cheap! And since I was a child pencil coloring has been my least favorite, lol! But Copics are expensive too, and some of my Copics needed a refill so... I saved some money and I placed an order ;)

My impressions? I LOVE them!! I used them alone and with a Gamsol kit (this card is made with the kit) and they're easily blendable, the colors are really pretty and you don't need three tones to achieve a good blending, most times just one pencil looks great :) I'm still a newbie but I've been playing, I had a lot of fun and I'm really happy with the results! So you're definitely seeing me coloring with these new babies a lot!

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and a video and comment there on all the Inspiration Week posts to enter the giveaways! Good luck!

Hello Baby - Lawn Fawn May Inspiration WeekHello little prince

Hola!
It's the second day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration week and today we're featuring Hello Baby, a baby set with the cutest images and sentiments!
I've made two cards using these stamps, I love having these kind of cards by hand!
My first card is a baby boy card. I love the little prince sentiment and the stamps to build that little scene.
I used "Sharp Backdrops" for the background with some Lawn Fawn sequins and some gold confetti that I made with the little coordinating dies of this set.

My second card is a very simple and quick one. I used a Lawn Fawn note card as the base, adhered a doily, vellum and finally decorated it.
I had to make a card with the "happy adoption" sentiment, I think it's just too sweet :)

I hope you like my projects! Don't forget to visit Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, a video and a giveaway! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great weekend!!
