Lawnscaping Challenge #89: One Layer

Happy Monday!!
I'm a little late this time with my post, sorry!! I'm full of work these days! But I'm finally here with my project to inspire you to join us in the new Lawnscaping Challenge: One Layer!

I know most of you are not fans of one layer cards, to be honest, I'm not a fan either. If you check my cards you will notice that I always use layers and layers... Anyway I think you must give this challenge a try because it's a true challenge and true challenges are really fun!

I made a simple card with Summer still in mind ;) I love that s'more stamp and it's my first time using it, I combined it with Woodgrain Backdrops for a natural look. Now the little s'mores have their cheeks colored too with a bit of pink but I had no time to take again the picture, ugh! You would have to believe me, they look more cute now hee hee!

Sweater Weather collection - LF release week

Hi and Happy Monday!!
Today is the 4th day of Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter release week and it's all about paper! Ok and fun coordinating embellishments ;)

We're featuring the new Fall paper collection, Sweater Weather and coordinating flair, twine and wood veneer, yes! Wood veneer! I looooove those cute little wooden leaves :D
And this whole collection... What can I say? It's cozy!! I love the sweet colors and the inclusion of dark blue and green so so yummy! And the patterns are perfect for Fall!

Ok, here's my project, I couldn't help myself and I added a bit of everything (oh! no! there's no wood leaves here! But I made a project using them that I will share soon :))

I'm not a scrapbooker girl, you know it. Said that, I love to use journaling cards on my cards, they are so cute! So I cut one from the 12x12 paper collection with the Stitched journaling card and another one with the big tag die for my sentiment.

Cozy Days

I love the paper pieced bear from Love You S'more all ready for a cooler weather with that scarf, that I borrowed from Snow Day hee hee

Cozy Days - detail

For a finishing touch I added that sweet flair that I think that matches greatly the feeling of the card and put some glossy accents on the heart to continue with the shine of the flair.

Don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration from the DT, a great project and video from Kelly and of course, an amazing giveaway!

Note: Nat Quebec you were the winner of my giveaway, please contact me before Wednesday or I'll have to choose another winner, these goodies are excited to arrive to a new home! :)

Xyron & Lawn Fawn week - Happy Camper

Hello!!

I hope your week is being great! We are celerating Xyron & Lawn Fawn week, both companies are joining forces to bring lots of inspiration to you :)

I made a card combining several Lawn Fawn sets and I used Xyron products to adhere everything. I used the Sticker Maker to make sticker clouds and a sticker caravan. Then I used the Tape Runner to adhere the grass and Glue Stick for the paper bow that I cut with my Silhouette.

Lawnscaping Challenge #83: Embossing

Hello again!

This is my second post today, if you want to see my first cards as The Alley Way Stamps guest designer for July, scroll down or click here.

And with th beginning of the month comes another Lawnscaping challenge!! This time is all about embossing, heat or dry. I LOVE heat embossing, I use this technique all the time. I must confess I had a lot of embossing powders but in the end, I go with the white one all the time, ooops!

So I did it again and I used my white embossing powder to create this little scene, no need to tell you I had a lot of fun creating that watercolored background, hee hee!

I really wanted to add the s'more word in the sentiment but it was too long that way, sigh! Anyway I love this set and you're going to see me using them again in the future :) Oh! Those little marshmallows look yummy, huh? I used liquid applique to create that cool texture and then I colored them a bit with copics.

I hope you feel inspired and join us this time! I looove seeing all your amazing entries each challenge :) This time we're sponsored by Simon Says Stamp shop so you could win a $25 gift card to Good luck!!
