Shaker card using the Fuse Tool with video!

Hi!

Today I have a new video to share with you! I recently purchased the Fuse Tool and I wanted to give it a try and share it with you so I made a video with my first project :)

I wanted to create the effect of borderless shaker pockets so it looks like the content of the stars could fall from the sides of the card. It looks so cool in real life!!

I added a sentiment from Big Scripty Words so I can use it for a lot of  "congrats ocassions". Sentiments from Lucky Stars would fit great too. I started my desing with the "Reach for the Stars" one but I wanted a white embossed sentiment over dark cardstock so I finally discarded it. But I think it'd look perfect stamped on the inside of the card :)
Or the "I love you to the stars and back" adding the bunny mom with the little bunny <3 Well, you know, the possibilities are a lot but I was going to make only one card so I had to choose :P

Here's the inside of the card, you can see it through the stars, that's why I used a yellow paper inside. You can appreciate better what I mean with "borderless" shaker pockets on this picture, with that big star hehe

I hope you enjoy the video, I try to explain everything but somethimes is hard just with subtitles so if you have any questions, just leave me a comment :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your support, have a great day!!

Birthday Tags - Lawn Fawn March Inspiration week

Hi friends!
I hope your weekend is being wonderful! With a Lawn Fawn Inspiration week going con it's being a bit happier for sure :)

Today we're featuring Birthday Tags, another coordinating stamp set for the Tag, You're It dies. I love that Kelly decided to create more options for these cute dies and Birthday is a must!

So here is what I've made: I prepared 3 big cookies (yum yum) to give as gifts inside cd pockets and simply decorated them with twine and tags.

I die cut the center of the tags and added acetate to give more interest. Then I adhered some critters and stamped the sentiments, a lot of the LF critters are perfect to decorate the tags and I love that!

Hi everyone!
It's the first Monday of March so it's time for a new Lawnscaping challenge! Grab your glitter, stickless and shiny papers because your proyect is gonna bling! ;)

Here's my project, I made a shaker card with 3 independent shakers full of little sparkling  stuff. The background is made with Inktense watercolor pencils, going with a pencil through a background stamp and spraying it with water, then stamp it and color a bit with watercolors. Just experimenting a bit and having fun :)

To match the colors on the card, I colored some white sequins from Lawn Fawn with my Copics

Lawn Fawn + May Arts Week - Rainbow card

Hi everyone!
This week we're teaming up with the people from May Arts to feature how well work together the cute Lawn Fawn stamps with the amazing May Arts ribbon.

May Arts has a huge collection of ribbon and I have too much favorites but one I use a lot is the chevron ribbon, it's happy, fresh, cute and available in great colors, so I couldn't help myself and I used it again! And this time, I used a lot of colors to create a rainbow background :)

Then I cut a stripe of white cardstock and die cut the smallest stars from Puffy Stars Stackables, stamped the sentiment, added some foam adhesive and it's done!

And those super cute sequins? Yay! I'm loving them! And they are from Lawn Fawn! It's a little sneak peak of the new stuff we'll be showing the next week, stay tuned!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, I hope you are having a nice summer!!

Lucky Stars - Lawn Fawn May Release Week

Welcome to day 3 of Lawn Fawn May Release week!
Today we have 2 new goodies to share, a new 3x4 set of sentiments called Lucky Stars and a new set of Lawn Cuts, Puffy Stars Stackables. The cool thing is that the sentiments match perfectly the stars and some of them are great to go inside of some of the stars, like I showcased on my card. I made some custom chipboard stars with very several layers of thick cardstock adhered together

I totally love this new set, the fonts are totally cute and the sentiments soo sweet! And what about the new dies?? The key is the word puffy, those stars are CUTE! :)

For the background, I stamped Chevron Backdrops on blue textured cardstock using white pigment ink, then sprayed it with Mr. Huey's mists and removed color here and there with a dry baby wipe.

Here's a close up of my custom chipboard stars ;)

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to discover another set and meanwhile, visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, a video and a giveaway!!
