Waffle Flower V-Day Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Waffle Flower V-Day Blog Hop!

Waffle Flower's releases are always full of unique and amazing products and this one is no exception! I've been playing a bit with the new stuff and I had a lot of fun!

So I have two cards to share with you, for the first one I used the Stitched Love stamps and dies. This is my first cross-stitch set and I really love it! The final look is super cool!

I used several tones of green and pale yellow inks to stamp the pears and make them look dimensional. For the background I used the Plaid Play stamps to create my own plaid patterned paper.

I only used stamps, dies and inks this time, no embellishments, twine or enamel accents, no coloring at all. And this is not what I use to do but I really enjoyed the process, it was fun and I like the final card :)

For my second card I took my Prismacolor pencils and enjoyed some coloring. I used the new Little Bakers set (is it cute or what?) and create this card. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and added that Mini 3D Bow as a little finishing touch.

After stamping the hearts on the background I used my Wink of Stella pen on them to add some shine. Because like in baking, the secret ingredient in crafting is love. And some sparkling hehe

I hope you like my projects and you're enjoying the blog hop! There is a giveaway involved too so here's the info ;)

EDIT: Yayyy!! I got my stamps today and made this quick card to join the hop! I LOVE the new items and this Cold Hands stamp set is one of my favorites, those critters are so cute!!

I used the new Layering Woodgrain stamps to create my background and colored the little cute critters with Copic markers. I used my blending tool to add some color to the sky of my little scenes and added a little touch with white enamel liquid and my wink of stella pen.

To finish it off I tied some ribbon and it's done! I hope you like it! :)

Tea Time Pop Up card with Waffle Flower products

Hello there!

Today I'm here to share with you a fun pop up card I made using Waffle Flower products from the Fall release. This time, I'm featuring the Tea For Two stamp set, I love this super sweet stamp set, I'm a big fan of Bear and Bird designs, they're absolutely adorable!
So I made a pop up card from scratch and I have a how to video that you can see at the Waffle Flower blog or at the Waffle Flower Youtube channel.

I kept the design of my card very, very simple, even the background is slightly colored (I used Distress inks and my blending tool) because I wanted the images to be the star of the show.

The fun scalloped border is made with another product from the Fall release, one of the Scenery dies, I used it to create some bushes but is perfect for clouds or just as a decorative border.
For the front of the card, I used the new Cutaway Alpha dies, these dies are super cool, I totally love that thin font style!

I colored all the little images with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I'm not good at coloring with watercolors, I mean, I just play with them, I don't know how to use them correctly but I really enjoy painting with them so I wanted to share my coloring process with all of you, just in case you know nothing like me and you're afraid to play with them, just give them a chance, they are super fun!

I hope you like my card, thank you so much for stopping by, have a great Monday!

Waffle Flower Stay Cool interactive pull tab card {+ video!}

Hi there!

Today I have a special post because this is my first card and video for Waffle Flower Crafts!

I made an intercative pull tab card from scratch and you can see the video tutorial here, on my Youtube channel or on the Waffle Flower Youtube channel.

I used copic markers to color the critters and Distress inks for the background. When you pull out the tab, the snorkeler bear gets his head out of the water!
I really LOVE this set, it's super funny and summery and it has different and very cool possibilities :)

I hope you enjoy the video and like the card! Thank you so so much for stopping by, have a great day!
