Goodie Bag & Spooktacular - LF August release week

Yay yay yay!!
This is one of those super happy times of the year! The new Lawn Fawn release is here, it will be available to purchase on August 28th and in the meantime we will have a week of inspiration to show you some of the new stuff, you're going to love it, I tell you!!

This first day we're featuring the new stand alone die Goodie Bag (so so cute!!) and the new Halloween stamp set, Spooktacular (more cuteness here!!).

I already made a Fall / Thanksgiving bag using Goodie Bag for the sneak peak week that you can see here but I couldn't help myself and I had to make something more... How about some cut bags for your Halloween treats? How about monster bags? They make me giggle!

Monster bags

And following with the Halloween theme I made this card using Spooktacular and I had a lot of fun creating it! For th background I used Distress inks and then sprayed some water and Perfect Pearls mist for some shine. I love the look of the vellum clouds, it looks like a night with mist or something hee hee

And what about those cute bats??? I love them!!

I hope you like my projects, you'll find more inspiration, a video and a giveaway on the Lawn Fawn blog so don't forget to check it out!!

I love your work! How did you get the tag to read "you're fangtastic" instead of "you're a fangtastic"?

Yainea said...

Thanks Summer! I didn't ink the "a" when inking the sentiment, so just "you're" was stamped :)
I have a video on how I made these bags, if you want to see it here's the link:

Another question for you :) How did you attach the vellum clouds? It looks like you may have sewn them to the card? Are there any tapes or glues for vellum you have used that don't show through?

Hi summerdean! Sorry for my super late answer, I used Xyron glue stick this time but Scrapbook Adhesives has a permanent fine adhesive runner that it's perfect for vellum too! I use these products for vellum all the time :)
