Happy Wedding - LF release week & Lawnscaping challenge

Happy Monday!!

Today my post is a 2 in 1 because I'm featuring Happy Wedding, one of the new sets from Lawn Fawn June release week and using my card for the new Lawnscaping challenge, this time with a popular theme: Using critters on your project!!

For my card I used the cute pair of birds and two other new products: Stitched borders and Stitched Ovals and I tried to keep everything very clean and simple.

Happy Wedding

I wanted to make it a bit special so I used an oval to cut the front panel and adhered it to the inside with foam adhesive so you can see it before and after you open the card. Also, I stamped another sentiment in the inside and used stitched borders on the top and bottom of the card. I love how these stitched borders look!!

Happy Wedding - detail

For more detail but keeping it clean, I stamped Argyle backdrops with silver ink on the background of the bird couple. The final touch is a blue ribbon I tied on the card for a pop of color. I hope you like it!

I know you love Lawn Fawn critters so don't miss this Lawnscaping challenge!! We're sponsored by Ellen Hutson so you could win a $25 coupon for their store, sounds cool, right?? ;)
