Crazy cool - Avery Elle card

Hello and happy Monday!

Wow Dec 14th already??? Time flies!! Do you have all your Christmas stuff ready? Eeek! Not me! I still haven't bought a single present but every year is the same way, I love to do it the last few days... No rush = no Christmas! lol
Do you love to have everything ready ahead of time or are you like me? :)

Anyway, all the new releases are non-Christmas related, looking ahead to Valentine's day and Spring time so my card today is also non-Christmas because I'm featuring one of the new sets of stamps and dies from Avery Elle, Crazy.

Crazy

I love that this set has two dies, with and without outilne, the possibilities are super cool! I played with both dies and kept the card super simple. I just used the biggest die on white cardstock, popped up that panel with foam adhesive and placed in the hole a piece of cardstock that I cut with the other die and colored with Copics.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, big hugs and have a nice week!

I love You - Lawn Fawn Dec inspiration week

Hi!!

Lawn Fawn December inspiration week has come to an end but now you can purchase the new release! I hope you like everything and you've inspired by our projects. I love this mini release!

For the last day of inspiration week I featured the new I love you border. Isn't it cute? I love this borders, they're the perfect size for both horizontal and vertical cards because you can trim the borders without harming the sentiment. Also you can curve it a little! :)

I Love You border

I also used the new stitched hearts dies, finally some big hearts! yay! And I paired these new toys with the cute raccoon from Holiday Party Animal and Smitty's ABC's for a custom sentiment. The first time I saw the raccoon I knew I wanted to make a card with a thief-raccoon haha!

For more inspiration on how to use this set and others from the new release, please check the Lawn Fawn blog.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments and support, big hugs!!

Turn me on - Lawn Fawn Dec inspiration week

Hello!!
It's second day of Lawn Fawn inspiraton week and I have another project to share! Today we're showcasing a new mini: Turn Me On.
I think that this one is sooo fun and the lightbulb with the heart-shaped filament is super cute!

Thinking about what to do with this set, I came up with the idea of a slider card to "turn on" the lighbulbs. I sketched it and then I thought that it'd be fun if the sentiment appeared when the lighbulbs were on. So I took my crafty stuff and started to work! :)

Turn Me On - off

I wanted to stamp my acetate with Stazon ink but then I realized that I have it in another city sigh!! So fortunately I have black embossing powder! I was afraid of the black dust everywhere on the acetate but, hey! you can remove the tiny remains of embossing powder with a baby wipe after you heat up the embossing powder. So it looks all clean like I wanted it!!

Turn Me On - on

The black background is not patterned paper, I just draw lots of dots with my white gel pen :)

Confession time: I can't stop slidding the card up and down and seeing the cute lightbulbs changing their color lol!!! I just love interactive cards and it was a long time since I made one!

I hope you like my project for today, you can find more inspiration using this set on the Lawn Fawn blog, there's a video by Kelly and a giveaway, don't miss it!

Thank you so much for your visit, hugs!!

La Dolce Vita - Avery Elle card

Hello again!

I'm here another Monday to share a card on the Avery Elle blog! Today's set is a new one called Dreamboat and it's from the Winter release, I have a fun time playing with it!

La Dolce Vita

When I first saw this set I knew I wanted a super glowing moon with moon light all over the couple and boat so I grabbed my Copics and went for that look. It was really fun to color the scene. Then for the background I used Distress inks and sprinkled the whole sky with a brush and white paint as a final touch. And it ended up looking pretty similar than I imagined, this don't happen so often he he!!

I hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog :)

Pizza My Heart - Lawn Fawn Dec inspiration week

Hello!!
It's Lawn Fawn inspiration week, a happy time of the month! We will be featuring the new mini Valentine's day release these days and you don't want to miss it, the new sets and dies are super cute!!

Today is the turn for Pizza My Heart, it's sooo fun! I love that you have lots of ingredients to stamp your favorite pizza! And gosh, I LOVE pizza!!

I made two cards (just because I wanted to stamp ingredients!) For the first one I masked a part of the pizza and stamped the edges with the straight line stamp from the set so it looks like the slice on the left is part of the pizza. I also added pepperoni hearts as the main ingredient lol!

Pizza My Heart

I love the combo of fonts and the smiley faces in this set, it wouldn't be a Lawn Fawn set without smiley faces :)

Pizza My Heart - detail

For the second card I stamped a variety of pizzas and slices and then randomly cut them to match the sentiment. This card is smaller than the usual card size and it was not intended haha. I just took a piece of white cardstock from my "pieces of cardstock box" and thought it was the right size, then stamped the pizzas, colored them... And when I was going to glue to a card base.... eeeeeeekkk it was smaller!! I didn't want to repeat everything so I kept with a smaller card. Am I the only one so messy?? Or just the only one too lazy? Haha

Awesome combination

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration using this set, the projects are amazing! And there's a giveaway going on there... :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great Monday!

Avery Elle Winter release blog hop

Hi there!

Today we're celebrating the Avery Elle winter release and, as always, we have a blog hop party!
This release is full of cute and fun sets, I know you're going to love it!

I'm featuring a super cute mini, Mon Cheri, these cute and happy cherries totally make me smile! I made a simple and feminine card. For some reason when I think of cute cherries, I think of doilies too lol! So I had to use one :)
I paper pieced the little cherries and tied my sentiment with some twine.

Bonjour mon Cheri

I colored the white hearts of the blue patterned paper with a pink Copic to match better my color palette, I wanted a bold background paper :)

Of course, I couldn't stop there, I also wanted to take out my Copics and color those pretties hehe!
I also wanted to try a new die: Envie Dies and create a cute mini envelope. Or two. Or three :)
And I made little party invitations. Super simple, but I love them!

These little envelopes are super cute and perfect for including a little note with a gift. I know I'm going to use them from time to time :D
