Hola!
Are you loving the new Lawn Fawn products? I know you are because they are amazing!!
So Lawn Fawn Summer inspiration week continues today and I have more projects to share with you!
My first project features Palm Trees dies. And I'm really amazed with this set. I started playing with these dies, not having a real plan for a card in mind, but when I started coloring them, I fell in love! That little crab is super cute and I love how colorful this card ended being.
I colored the images with Copic markers and used Distress inks for the background. On the sand, I added some dots with my Copics to simulate sand and then springled some water on the sky for a more summery and fun look. For the stripes, I used Abandoned Coral Distress ink mixed with water and created them with a flat brush.
My next project features Wild For You stamps and dies and Selfie Frames. I combined everything wo create this fun and colorful card with critters of the party guests and little birthday lion :)
I stamped and masked each critter and colored the background using Distress inks. Then, I colored all the critters with Copic markers.
For the background, I stamped all the leaves with Noble Fir ink and the colored them with Mowed Lawn ink mixed with water. I was looking for this exact look so I went with this dye ink because I was not going to touch the borders with my little brush while coloring the inside. If you want to make this and you're going to paint the wholeleaf, go with a waterproof ink instead or the ink will bleed while painting with watercolors :)
Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
