Cupcakes & Pint Sized Patterns - LF March inspiration week

Hello!!

Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues with the DT featuring products from the new release and I have 2 projects to share with you today.

First I used the new Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers and Bon Voyage stamp set to decorate some cupcakes. You can imagine my excitement when I saw Lawn Fawn was making these cupcake dies, I love baking so these are the perfect touch for an extra cute homemade cupcakes!

Party plane cupcakes

I heat embossed the clouds on the wrappers with white embossing powder on some new Pint Sized Patterns Beachside paper (I LOVE these paper with stars!!) and then quick colored the inside of the clouds with white Distress paint. I love it because it gives a translucent look to the clouds and it dries quickly :)

Then I colored the planes with copics and cut them with the coordinating dies. Also, I adhered a trail made with some twine. I wanted to do this since I saw Elena's heart trails on her Sending Love party. I'm such a fan of Elena's partys! Obviously hers are much more pro and pretty but I loved the idea and wanted to use it on my cupcakes too :)

My next project uses the new paper line too: Pint Sized Patterns Beachside. And because the colors (and name!) reminded me of sailing, sea, beach, etc. I grabbed my Critters in the Sea stamps and coordinating dies and created a scene with some paper piecing.

Under the sea

It's easy and simple but I love how the colors pop on the dark background. I added some white sequins in different sizes like they were bubbles to add some shine. And, of course, some twine, I love the sweet touch of some twine on a card (but I'm sure you've already noticed that hee hee).

Under the sea - close

I hope you liked my projects, for more inspiration (and a giveaway!) don't forget to visit Lawn Fawn blog :)

Sending smiles...

Hi! I hope you're having a great week! Tomorrow is Friday, yay!

Today I'm sharing a card and some great news, Lawn Fawn is going to be exhibiting at the Summer CHA tradeshow for the first time. They are realeasing 2 new paper lines and 10 new stamp sets and TODAY they're revealing 5 of the new stamp sets!

The new sets are amazing and the best part is that they have a giveaway on the Lawn Fawn blog so go visit the blog and comment for a chance to win one of the sets, I'm really excited about this new release, I'm totally in love with all the new stuff and I'm sure that you'll love it all too :)

As I can't travel to CHA and share all the excitement, meet amazing people and so on, all I can do is wishing a great and safe trip to the people who will visit CHA and sending some smiles across the miles... :)
Oh! I'm very jealous LOL

I stamped the sentiment from Hello Friend after removing the ink from the little plane, then I created a strip of planes masking the sentiment and stamping the little plane several times on a strip of paper with Versamark ink and heat embossing them. Then, I colored the strip of paper with Distress ink :)

Thanks for stopping by! Big big hugs :)

Hello everybody!
I made this card last week but I've been too busy/lazy to take it a photo and share on the blog...

I need to mount my lightbox, lights, etc each time I need to take a pic so thinking of it is like... ughh... So I usually finish some cards before mounting the "photocall" except if I'm very excited with the card or I'm running out of time for entering a challenge :P

I had fun making this card because I didn't plan it, just had the idea of paper planes + paper clips + bright colors and started to play, sooooo relaxing! :)

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a great week!

Up, up & away!

Hi everyone!
Ooops it seems that I've neglecting my blog for a while... sorry! It's because I had like 4 or 5 cards started that I was not able to finish! That's really annoying!

This curse was broken yesterday on my way home.. because I had a cool idea that I needed to try asap. So today I've made this card :)

I made the ballons using the circular lantern from Lawn Fawn Lunar Lights and hand drawn the baskets :) I tried to make this card simple to enter it in the current Lawnscaping challenge: CAS.

I'm always missing the YCU! challenge and that is making me mad so I won't miss this one! I've been careful to not use any coloring medium so I think this card is perfect too for their current challenge: Not coloring allowed. I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Ugh... It's still Monday :/

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: "Lunar Lights" and "Bon Voyage"
- Lawn Fawn papers and alpha stickers; "Bright Side"
- Lawn trimmings grey twine
- My Mind's Eye papers: "On the Bright Side"
- Memento ink and marker: "Tuxedo Black"
