Twinkling lights card - Lawn Fawn & Chibitronics colab week {+ video!}

Hello!

This week, Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics are joining forces to bring lots of inspiration! Of course, I didn't want to miss this because I'm truly in love with these two companies :)

So I took the Elphie Selfie stamp set from the past release and made this card. And, because I used the Effect Stickers to make the lights twinkle, I wanted to share with you how to do this, so I make a video!

I'm using here the new Push Here stamp that are just perfect for interactive cards! I colored the background with Lawn Fawn inks, the Moon with Distress inks and the cute critters and balloon with Copic markers.

When you push the button the card lights up and the lights twinkle, it's super pretty in person! <3
This is not the most basic circuit but I've ttried to explain it in my video and I show it clearly enough so you can just reproduce it if you are not interested in circuits and all that :)

I know there are people out there that don't give a try to Chibitronics because they think they're too complicated and, if you're one of them, I want to encourage to change your mind and give them a try, you can start with a simple example to loose your fear and then you'll have a lot of fun and your recipients will be amazed with your cards with lights! (And no, Chibitronics don't pay me anything to promote them, lol, this is just what I think).

You don't whant to miss the Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics blogs, they have amazing inspiration for you and there are some giveaways going on! ;)

Lawn Fawn & Chibitronics colaboration + video

Hello and happy Monday!

This week Lawn Fawn & Chibitronics are collaborating again and I couldn' be happier! I LOVE Chibitronics products! :)

This time I made a Holidays card using the Frosty Fairy Friends stamp set, creating a Winter scene. And I made a video showing how I made everything. You can see it and all my videos at my Youtube channel.

I hope you enjoy it!!

I colored everything with Copic markers except for the background, that I used Distress inks, it's a pretty simple card, the most tricky part is the circuit, but it's easy as well and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me, of course!

Avery Elle & Chibitronics blog hop

Hello!
Avery Elle and Chibitronics are pairing up for a fun collaboration today.  Chibitronics has products that we can use to easily illuminate our  cards, paper crafts, textiles, and more.  They are so cool!  Be sure to check out their website for videos, tutorials, examples and templates.

I really love playing with Chibitronics lights! This time I made a Christmas card with a vintage feel using the cute Avery Elle Kirsch Christmas deer.
I used one of the effect stickers (the blink one) to iluminate the sky and it looks so cool!!

I colored the card with Distress inks and Copic markers and finished it with some "snow" and a gold cord with a pair of jingle bells. I hope you like it!

This is how the effect sticker looks in action:

Slider Light up card - Chibitronics & Lawn Fawn colab

Hello!

It's me again with another Chibitronics & Lawn Fawn project! I couldn't stop on the mason jar card and I had to make another one, it's similar but I added a different light up mechanism :)

If you have not seen my Chibitronics & Lawn Fawn video showing how to make a light up card, you can see it here on my Youtube channel (and you can subscribe too if you are interested on more videos! =)

I started with a night sky like in my previous card but this time I added lots of stars with Snowy Backdrops. Then I added two cute critters and a slider mechanism. When you move the foxy and he's by the side of the racoon, the stars light up.

Here's the card on it's "off position":

And here's the card on its "on" position:

It's super pretty in real person!! I must confess that I've been moving the foxy from one side to another just to see the stars brighten up the card <3

I colored the Critters with Clean Color Real Brush markers, and each time I use them, I love them more. I want to make a video showing you how I use them, but I want to practice a bit more first :)

Here's a closer look on the sky. I used vellum behind the die cut panel so the LED lights are more diffuse, this way I lighten up more or less most of the sky with only 5 LEDs.
