Avery Elle #TBT - Write it

Hi there!!

It's #TBT at Avery Elle blog today! So we are featuring an old set and this time the star of the show is Write it!

I made a card using one of the gorgeous scripty sentiments of this set and combining it with flowers from Fabulous Florals.
First I created an ombre background with watercolors and when it dried I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.



I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves with Avery Elle inks (there is an amazing and really wide range of colors available!) and finally aranged them to frame the sentiment.

I added a bit of white liquid enamel here and there and distressed the edges of the watercolor paper. I really had a great time making this card, I enjoyed every part of it! :)

It's my turn on the Avery Elle blog and today I'm sharing a card featuring Fabulous Florals, a incredibly gorgeous set with lots of possibilities to create your floral projects.

   

I really love this set but... why am I so bad with floral cards? LOL



I tried to imitate the style of folk art (from North Europe) with bold colors and that washi tape on the borders, I hope you like it, I will be trying to improve my floral cards because this set is super pretty!!
