Surprise penguin Avery Elle card

It's me again, he he!!

Today I'm featuring the Avery Elle North Pole stamp set and what could I say? I love it!! It's perfect for fun and cute Christmas cards! In particular I'm in love with the little penguin so my card is totally focused on him :)

I created a winter scene with him carrying a bag of presents and going to the North Pole



But if you open the card you will discover that this little Santa helper is not alone!! Hahaha I had a lot of fun making this card, I hope you like it!! :)

Avery Elle & Add a Little Dazzle week

Hi there!! Happy Monday!!

I made this card combining products from both companies, for the background I used a stencil that I created with my Silhouette Cameo with embossing paste on watercolor paper and added a little watercolor in blues and aqua tones.
The rest of the card is super easy, I die cut and mount everything, heat embossing the sentiment from Joy to the World on a metal banner.

 

Here's a little close up so you can see the beautiful shine of these metal sheets! I used two different colors: White for the snowflake and red for the sentiment banner and little embellishments.

Be Good - Avery Elle card

It's the turn of Joy to the World to be featured. This stamp set is one of my favorites from the last Avery Elle release, I love the fonts on the world balls and the different sentiments and possibilities. And it has coordinating dies too!

When I see the "Santa is coming to Town" ball and the Santa and reindeers ornament for the world's map my head started to work and when I realized that I could blend the ornament to have a Santa flying on a sky... Well, the whole card came into my mind.



I have to tell that I'm pretty proud of this one because I made it at 2am lol and I was thinking I couldn't make anything good. That's what inspiration works, I guess!! Sometimes I have several days and I can't make anything haha

So I heat embossed the sentiment as it looks like the moon and blended Santa and reindeers to travel trough the sky. The background is made with Distress inks and some splashed water and then I just layered some city skylines on the bottom.

I hope you like it!! I'm sure I'll use this set again in many other ways!! :)
