Avery Elle Valentine treats

Hello!

Today I have a super easy project to share with you at the Avery Elle blog. Sometimes I reject ideas for being too simple and then I think... why?? So I came up with this idea of Valentine treats to feature the cute critters from Hang in There (hehe they are so chubby... they warm me heart!) using CD/DVD envelopes and it is simple but that's great for treats! So I go ahead and made them!

And, of course, I HAD to bake some cookies for the pictures, it was necessary. And I ate some of them. Maybe. haha 

I combined several sets here but they are super easy to make, just stamping, die cutting and glueing. I added some shadows to the critters with my copic markers, but you can totally skip this part and use color cardstock instead :)

By the way... I had never used that heart die before (I don't understand why), but it just became my favorite heart die ever, I LOVE it!! And you'll see it soon in another project ;)

Valentine's day projects with Lawn Fawn

Hello there!

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a great one! We went to the mountains to visit my grandfather and enjoy the snow. Here in the city, we had some snow but not so much and it said goodbye last Friday. Today the day is much warmer and the sun brights in the sky :)

Valentine's day is this Saturday so love is in the air already and I have a pair of Lawn Fawn projects to share with you and celebrate this lovely holiday.



First I made a pair of tags using Stitched Stackable Circles and Whale You Be Mine to decorate a gift. With a simple kraft wrapping this gift looks cute just adding some handmade love, don't you think?



I cut the bows with my silhouette using Let's Polka papers, the ones with the heart pattern are just perfect!



Also, I made a card using Love You a Latte, Harold's ABC's and Wish You were Here for the custom sentiment.



The hearts on the background were cut with the Hearts dies and for the papers I mixed Let's Polka with Snow Day.

Love you Tons - Lawn Fawn December Inspiration Week

So I was making another card completely different when I see this card by Kristina Werner, I fell in love with the design and I decided to CASE it. She's an amazing cardmaker and a great source of inspiration for me :)

Guest designer at Neat & Tangled stamps

Lawn Fawn Valentine's Week

Hi friends!
Because there are only a few days left before Valentine's day, all the DT at Lawn Fawn were making projects these last days to inspire you to use the cute Lawn Fawn stamps to make your cards. I love to use Lawn Fawn stamps to say I love you in some different ways, they are so cute and adorable that I think they're perfect to transmit that sweet sentiment :)

This time, my card is a bit "think out of the box", I had this idea a long time ago so last week I had some free time and enjoyed a great time playing with my stamps :) As you can see, I've used a lot of sets!!:

   - All the hearts are from Bee Mine. except the background on the circle, that is made with Belinda's Borders and the same stamp using the back side.

   - The background is from Interlocking Backgrounds, the turquoise stripe is stamped with an arrow included in an exclusive set made for Studio Calico called This Way to Fun, but you could get a similar look with the new background set ;) The ponk stripe is made with I've got Mail.

   - The ghosts souls are from Happy Haunting (mirror stamping technique) and the sentiment is stamped with a part of "you are my sunshine" from Sunny Skies and Jessie's ABCs.
Sooo I think it's a total of 8 sets, haha!!

I wanted to use the Fourteen collection from Crate Paper to make this card but when I found it in stock (thanks Gisel!) I realized it won't arrive in time so I played with my stamps and cardstock with the collection's color palette in mind (well... more or less...). I hope you like it!!
