Today I want to share another CAS card, this time featuring Gnome Sweet Gnome :)
The first time I saw this stamp set, the little gnome remembered me a show from my early childhood so when I stamped him, I decided to investigate a little and color him like the gnome in the show.
He is David the gnome :)
I always tought that this was a show from some european country but I discovered that, actually, It's a spanish show! I also discovered that you might know about this show if you are from USA or Australia.
If you don't know him, I can tell you that I always remember him with love and nostalgia. This show is about a gnome doctor, his wife, the animals and the adventures of the gnomes and their enemies, the trolls. But it's also about friendship, justice and concerning about nature. Very important things for a child to learn, in my opinion :)
The name of the show, in spanish, is "David el gnomo", and I thought that maybe some of you might want to see the spanish opening, remembering the good ol' times hahahaha :0)
My favorite was Swift, the fox!!
So this card is my little tribute to you, David! (Oh, I know, you live inside a tree... well... I think that mushroom looks very comfortable too...)
Thanks for stopping by, you are the best!

Your card is so cute! I never heard of David the Gnome but it looks just like him!
Adorable card, Yainea! I love your colouring. And that little mushroom on top is perfect on that bow.
I'm not familiar with the show either, Yainea, but I think its adorable that you linked it up to show us what you are referring to. The card is adorable. You are a rockstar when it comes to Copic Coloring. :)
So cute! I love the white background. It really makes all the images and bold colors pop.
That's a cute tribute! Love the card!
OOhhh! David el Gnomo! Yo también crecí con él, con Lisa, con Swift... y aún me sé la canción de memoria :P
La tarjeta es too cute, Yainea! Me encanta el detalle de la seta en el lazo.
I've never heard of David the Gnome but looks like a show I'd still like now ;) Too adorable! :D
The show is based on several books from the Dutch artist Rien Poortvliet (drawings) and Wil Huygens (writing) called 'De Kabouter', which means 'Gnomes' in English.
His books have been brought out in 21 languages and the original drawings are absolutely amazing. I have owned the books since about 25 years and I still love them. I will leave you a link, so you can get an idea of the drawings, or try and google Rien Poortvliet - Gnomes. You can still get the books at Amazon.
