It's Lawn Fawn release week!! Woohoo! I know you are as excited as I am about the new sets :D and today's set is too cute!! I love all the Lawn Fawn sets with fantasy creatures. These mermaids (and merman!!) are a great addition!
One of the firsts videos I did for Lawn Fawn was a tutorial about how to make a spinning card. It was an under the sea scene and, as I soon as I saw this set, I knew I would make a spinning card as well. And because I recently started my very own Youtube channel, I wanted to make a new video, with this new unther the sea scene and a new tutorial. I hope you like it :)
I had to color the main mermaid as Ariel, she's my favorite Disney princess and I really like her colors and personality: she's a dreamer and very curious and adventurer :) And this little Lawn Fawn mermaid is just perfect to swim in circles in my spinning card hehe!
I hope you like my card and video, see you tomorrow with another new set from the new release!! Oh, and don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and a giveaway!

What a fabulous video, your watercolour background is gorgeous. The spinner card you created is just so beautiful and fun!
I absolutely love this cute spinner card
This is so adorable! Can you share what kind of masking fluid you use? I'd like to try some.
Oh my goodness, your card is adorable. What a wonderful job!
I pinned this one as soon as I saw it yesterday on the LF post. Love it when you do videos.
Thank you so much for your super nice comments, girls!! You made my day :D
Gale, the masking fluid is: Fineline Masking Fluid Pen. That's the name written in the bottle at least :) You can see the product in the video to get a better idea. I really love this product and I can't wait to use it again, it makes easier and quicker coloring backgrounds!
Oh! It's so cute! I keep coming back to watch the card again and again. Adorable!
Yainea, this card rocks and your Copic coloring skills are amazing. So glad I "happened" to find you and I look forward to more of your tutorials!
Thanks for sharing ("TFS") Yainea!
So happy I found your video :)
I love your card! I also had to order the two sets immediately lol! You have inspired me to try making a spinner card for my granddaughter. She will love it!! Thanks for posting and sharing your technique with us.
Can I ask what card stock you use for watercolor and copics? I'm new to copics and have found them to bleed if I'm not careful.

Hi Amanda!! For Copics my absolute favorite is Neenah cardstock (I'm from Spain and I have to order it from USA but I don't use any other).
For watercolors... I don't know how brand I used for the card on the video, sorry, I purchased several sheets at a local store and I don't remember the brand but I don't have a favorite yet. I'll keep searching and I'll share my findings :)
Thank you so much for responding! I was able to drive right down the street and buy a ream at our office store. I'm stocked for the weekend now!
