You & Me mini book

Hola!

I'm here today to share a mini book I made using the new Stitched Party Banners and some other Lawn Fawn products :)

I used Let's Polka on all pages because it's full of fun, colorful and easy basic patterns to start everything. For each page, I just cut a piece of cardboard with the big banner die and two of patterned paper and glued a patterned paper on each side of the cardboard. I used my Crop A Dile to give a nice look to each page with coordinating eyelets.

I wanted a fun cover so I mixed different elements from the lastest Lawn Fawn stuff: the circle is a watercolor paper colored with an ombre effect and then cut with the stitched circle included in Stitched Party Banners, then I die cut the ampersand from Louie's ABCs and substitued it with another die cut from white cardstock.
For the "you" and "me" I wanted to give them the look of big labels so I heat embossed with white the new Clark's ABCs on black cardstock stripes and then covered them with glossy accents.
Finally, the polaroid is from #Awesome, colored with copics.

I hope you like it and feel inspired to create your own mini book! It's really easy and perfect to document a little trip, birthday or just to give as a gift!

It's almost weekend so I wish you have a great one!! Hugs!!

Float my Boat - Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

Hola!
Today is the last day of the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration week but don't be sad because you still have time to enter in all the giveaways of the whole week, the winners will be revealed tomorrow!

We're featuring a medium size set, Float my Boat, a cute set perfect for sea-themed and Summer cards, you probably have seen my first card in the Lawn Fawn blog during CHA release week so I had to make another ;)

I know, I know, I used the same image and sentiment on both cards but they look very different, right? I love that! And if you want to see a card using the boat image, I made one two weeks ago here for the Lawn Fawn & May Arts week.

I incorporated a journaling card from Hello Sunshine, I really like doing it, I think they look super cool on a card like this with mixed elements. Oh! And the embossed stripes on the white cardstock were made with my scoring board :)

And that's all for this Inspiration week!! I hope you enjoyed my projects and felt inspired. I'm so thankful for you, visiting my blog and for your sweet comments that always brighten my day, thanks!! :)

Let's Polka! - Lawn Fawn March Inspiartion Week

Hi happy Monday!!
Lawn Fawn March Inspiration week continues today with more amazing new products, we're showcasing Let's Polka, a colorful collection of basic patterns like polka dots, lines and hearts. I love it and I'm using it again and again.

So I make a card using all the colors of the collection (but not all the patterns!) creating a background of stripes and die cutting it with the new word bubble included in the Large Stitched Journaling Card.
And because it's about color, I created my matching sentiment with Cole's ABCs and one of the sentiments in Starry Backdrops and then I thought I could add a cute dinosaur playing with crayons. I hope you like it!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I'll be back in a while with my project for the new Lawnscaping challenge :).

Scripty Hello die - Lawn Fawn February Inspiration week

Hi!

First of all thank you so much for your sweet comments and happy wishes about my anniversary, you're the best!! :)

The fun continues today at Lawn Fawn! The DT is showcasing Scripty Hello and Bubble Word dies. Don't you love the hello font? I think it's absolutely cute!! And the hello die is perfect for fun and quick cards!

I made a card using the Scripty Hello and Spring Showers dies.
The background paper is from Let's Polka and I muted it a bit sewing a layer of vellum on top. Then I placed the different elements using foam adhesive with different thickness and I die cut 9 layers of the background paper with hello die and another one using grey cardstock (yep! A total of 10 layers!). I glued all together for a fun dimensional look.
Finally the Embossed sunshine sentiment is from the new set Hello Sunshine.

I hope you're enjoying the release week, thank you so much for visiting and see you tomorrow!! Have a great weekend!
