So Jelly - Lawn Fawn June release week

Hi there!!

I hope you're enjoying your weekend!

Lawn Fawn release week continues today with the feature of a new mini stamp set and coordinating dies, So Jelly, and this one is too adorable!! I LOVE this pair of critters!!

I made a watercolor background to showcase these two cute friends. Then I cut by hand a starburst stancil from an acetate sheet and applied some embossing paste and glitter behind the star.

SoJelly

To add more sparkle, I used my Wink of Stella clear pen on the star and the jellyfish and added a bit of Glossy Accents and some sequins to the water background.

You're so sweet - Lawnscaping challenge #86

Happy Monday!!
How was your weekend? Mine was rainy lol but I enjoyed it anyways and we started to plan our holiday camping trip, I hope the weather will great to go to the beach but if not, we can visit new places :)

But I'm here today for another reason that sharing my plans ;) It's Monday and we have a new Lawnscaping challenge for you!! A really fun one, do you love playing with watercolors? Because I do!!

I had fun making and coloring my card even when it's really simple. It's almost a one layer card and I love that fun watercolor polka dot background, I really felt like a child while coloring it. Also, I'm happy of having used Sally's ABCs for my sentiment, it's a really pretty alphabet and it was a long time since I used it for the last time.

You are so sweet

Check the other DT members' projects, they are amazing! And join us this time, it will be fun, I tell you! If you don't own watercolors you can have a lot of options to use and achieve the same look: distress inks, distress markers, watercolor pencils, ink refills... I used cheap watercolors for children and I love them hehehe :)

We're sponsored by Lawn Fawn so you could be the winner of a stamp set of your choice! <3

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a nice day!!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Here's the Scoop, Bannerific, Sally's ABCs
- Versafine ink: Vintage Sepia
- Watercolors
- Timeless Twine: Natural twine

Scripty Thanks - Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week

Hi!
This is the last day of Lawn Fawn May Inspiration week and tomorrow is the big day when everything will be available to purchase, also you will see the complete release with the stuff that we're going to feature on June.

But for today, the star of the show is a die, Scripty Thanks, it's from the same series as the Scripty Hello die and I love that font!

For my first card I combined it with some more stuff from the new release: Life is Good stamp set and Stitched Party Banners.
I created the background stamping the waves, then coloring the stripes with watercolors and a plain brush and finally I added some distress inks to the edges.

I made a second card just for fun and because I wanted to try heat embossing the die cut, I did it two times to achieve more dimension and it's really cool!! The background and heart are colored with watercolors and die cut with dies from Stitched Party Banners.

Woodgrain Backdrops - Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week

Hi again!!
Today I have a new project to share with you to follow with the fun and celebrations of this Lawn Fawn inspiration week. We're featuring the newest set from the backdrop series and I don't know about you but I had been waiting for this one!

Due to limitations of clear stamps this woodgrain backdrop doesn't cover an entire card and maybe that scares you bit but trust me, it's super easy to use it and due to the imperfections of wood you can even play and rotate it, go a bit up or down, etc to get different results, I'm really enjoying playing with it and this texture is my favorite when stamping backgrounds :)
Also, it includes some fun little sentiments and images to play with and create cute decorations in your "wooden piece"

I wanted to make something different today and I decided to try myself at a wedding invitation (nope, I'm not getting married lol!) I know it's a bit complicated for a massive wedding, but I think it's pretty and special for a little and intime wedding, maybe one celebrated outdoors with a cute but elegant woodland decoration, muted tones, some bling... I can imagine it... What do you think?

Thanks so much for you visit today! For more inspiration and a giveaway, visit the Lawn Fawn blog! Hugs!!

Into the Woods paper collection - Lawn Fawn August Release Week

Yay!! It's finally weekend!
And even better, Lawn Fawn fun continues today! ;) We are showcasing one of the new paper collections, Into the Woods, that coordinates with a super cute set with the same name (I LOVE it, BTW)

The paper collections in this release are my all time favorites. They have amazing patterns, great colors and they include journaling cards in the 12x12 version. And talking about that, journaling cards are not only for scrapbookers!! I'm loving them for my cards as you can see in my project today :)

Also, this is the first time I use flair, I always loved those little cute embellishments but never purchased them... Oh! What an error!! I love them now! And I think they add a great point of interest and perfect dimension and shine. If you are like me, give them a try!

Ok, enough blabling, here's what I made:

I played with lots of stuff to make this card and believe me, it has some dimension!! For more inspiration and a giveaway, check out the Lawn Fawn blog.

Mother's Day - Lawn Fawn April Inspiration Week

Hello!
It's the last day of this month's inspiration week (boo!) I hope you've had a lot of fun and you felt inspired by all our projects :)

Today we're featuring two mini sets, some members of the DT are featuring Mother's Day and others, Year Three.
I'm one of the ones in charge of inspiring you using Mother's Day ;) I'm not a very floral girl so this one is a bit challenging for me but I must say that I love it! The tiny flowers are very versatile and fun to work with!

Also, if you haven't seen my Lawnscaping challenge post, I use Year Three on it and you can see it here.

I stamped a banner from Bannerific twice and created a double banner to focus on the sentiment and then I stamped a colorful background with the tiny flowers and leaves, decorating some of them with pearls, rinhestones and liquid pearls.

For the yellow cardstock background I stamped repeatedly the stripe of leaves from And a Partridge and I know you can barely see it, but it looks gorgeous!

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration from the amazing girls of the DT, a video and a card from the sweet Kelly Marie and of course, a giveaway!!

Lawn Fawn & Marker Pop

Hi!!
Today Lawn Fawn and Marker Pop are teaming up to feature Lawn Fawn stamps and Copic Markers, thats a great combo, right?!

Copics are usually the coloring medium on my cards so I wanted to make something new for me and I colored the sky on the scene with copics too. Also I created a fake patterned paper coloring Neenah Solar White cardstock with YG03 and drawing some lines with YG17. I think it's an easy way to macth an image when you don't have an aproppiate paper.

These are the copics I've used:
Reds: R22, R24, R29
Sky: B0000, BG11 and colorless blender
Trees and fake patterned paper: YG21, YG03, YG17
Santa's belt: Y35, YR04
Santa's face: E41, E51, R20

If you have any question, just leave a comment or send me an email! :)

Supply list:
Lawn Fawn stamps: Let it snow, Hats off to you, Gone sweet gnome, Bannerific, Harold's ABCs and Sweet Christmas.
Neenah cardstock: Solar White and Desert Sand
Versamark ink and white embossing powder

A new card and my weekend :)

Hi everyone!!
Today i have a cute card to share with you. I wanted to make this one for Inspiration Week last week but I run out of time so I finished it this weekend and here it is! I love the paper pieced watermelon pieces :)

I love this mini set so much! Those cute little ants are adorable!

Also I want to share my weekend with you :) I don't usually share personal stuff on my blog but it was a lot of fun and I need to share!!

As many of you know, I live in a small city in the North East of Spain. My city was founded by the Romans 2000 years ago and they coexisted peacefully with the existing residents in the area, the Celtics. So once in the year we have a celebration remembering them and this celebration was this past weekend. We have a wall all around the center of the city built by the Romans to protect the antique city and it's one of the actual World Wonders by Google (yes, I'm proud of it!! :P)

We usually dress like celtic or roman people, we decorate the streets and houses inside the wall and there are events with actors during all the weekend, , it's so much fun! So I wanted to share some pics! I forgot my camera at home so actually, only the last two pics are from this year, I took the others last year :)

I know it, this pic is horrible (it was taken at night with my phone :/) but I'm in LOVE with this gorgeous Pegasus :)

Also, I'm not a crazy soccer fan but, on Saturday, the Spain team won the match against the France team so we are classified for the Euro 2012 semifinals, woohoo! And on Sunday our city team ascended to a higher category, yay! it was a hard and super exciting match! It was played in the other team's city so we saw it on a big screen on the street and it was so fun! This is a phone pic after the victory :)

Well, sorry if you don't mind all this but I needed to share! Thank you very much for stopping by, I hope you have a great week!!
Hugs!!

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Critters Ever After

The first set we are featuring this week is "Critters Ever After". This is a super cute and fun set I LOVE each one of its stamps: the unicorn, griffin, dragon, frog, castle and all the little addons like the magic wand! :)
I'm very happy about featuring this set as my first DT member project because I absolutely love it! It's super cute! And it's very versatile too, obviously is perfect for all kind of cards for a little girl but also for a boy or even love cards!

I decided to make a card using the dragon stamp and the mirror stamping technique to create a shaker card with two dragons faceing each other: A fire dragon and an ice dragon. How cool is that? You can use the dragon and color it with different colors to have different kinds of dragons, kids would love that!

So, here is my card :)

And here is a closer look, the card is "shaked" in this one ;)

I hope you like it! I see myself using this set a lot in the future! If you have any questions just send me an email or leave me a comment :)
