Happy Wedding - LF release week & Lawnscaping challenge

Happy Monday!!

Today my post is a 2 in 1 because I'm featuring Happy Wedding, one of the new sets from Lawn Fawn June release week and using my card for the new Lawnscaping challenge, this time with a popular theme: Using critters on your project!!

For my card I used the cute pair of birds and two other new products: Stitched borders and Stitched Ovals and I tried to keep everything very clean and simple.

Happy Wedding

I wanted to make it a bit special so I used an oval to cut the front panel and adhered it to the inside with foam adhesive so you can see it before and after you open the card. Also, I stamped another sentiment in the inside and used stitched borders on the top and bottom of the card. I love how these stitched borders look!!

For more detail but keeping it clean, I stamped Argyle backdrops with silver ink on the background of the bird couple. The final touch is a blue ribbon I tied on the card for a pop of color. I hope you like it!

I know you love Lawn Fawn critters so don't miss this Lawnscaping challenge!! We're sponsored by Ellen Hutson so you could win a $25 coupon for their store, sounds cool, right?? ;)

Whale you be mine - Lawn Fawn Dec Inspiration Week

Hello!
It's second day of Lawn Fawn December Inspiration week and we're showing the amazing new release full of cute stuff perfect for Valentine's Day.

Today it's time for Whale you be mine, how cute are these little whales?? They are to die for!! So, even when these are perfect (and intended) for Valentine's day, I couldn't help myself and I made a non-related card... A baby card!

Whalecome baby

I hope you're with me... Are this cute baby whale and his mom from Critters in the Sea a perfect couple for a card? I used Stitched Hillside for the Sea, the new Stitched circles for the sentiment and, to add some texture on the background, I clear embossed it with Argyle Backdrops.

Sweater Weather stamps - LF release week

Hi!!
Lawn Fawn release week continues today featuring a Fall stamp set, Sweater Weather that coordinates with the new Fall paper collection.
It's fun and versatile and it includes one of my favorite single stamps from the release: That gorgeous frame... I'm in love!!

I started with Argyle Backdrops and created this card, of course I had to use the frame!! And because the font used in this set is the same that in the new Finley's ABCs dies, I wanted to create my own sentiment combining both :)

Yep, those two cuties are wishing you a happy day!! I love using new and old stuff together!!

Happy Day

Joining the critters I wish you a happy day as well and thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments during all this release week, I'm a happy girl! :)
