Crafty Friendship Blog Hop!

Hola!!
Today I'm celebrating crafty friendship with a group of crafty friends with an amazing blog hop

If you're hopping from the sweet and talented Francesca, you're on the right place. If not, and you want to start from the beggining, go to Heidi's blog :)

Esther Rovira from Arcadia de Papel Blog is the special Honoree of this year's blog hop, because her support to many blogs, in Spain, USA, and some other places in the world.
Also we chose this date because is her blog's anniversary!
And she happens to choose me as the special guest for the blog hop!! I can't tell you how happy and honored it makes me feel :)
Esther is spanish like me and she's very supportive and nice. She always put a smile on my face with her comments.

I want to dedicate this post to all my blog followers, all who take the time to leave those comments that always brighten my day and to all that don't comment but are also there. I'm so thankful for you, for your time and your kind words, for having me in your life.
I don't leave comments as frequently as I would like to do so I really appreciate the people that give their time as gifts supporting others with their comments and love. When Heidi sent me the list of participants in the blog hop I said: Gosh! I already know almost all these girls! And I know them because of their comments on my blog ot flickr and I tell you, I love all of them. They're super talented, sweet and supportive :)

How amazing is this crafty world, it's full of incredible people and I made a lot of friends from all around the world, people that I would never know if Internet would not exist.

So I'm totally in celebrarting crafty friendship, I already have my party hat on! Let's go, here's my card :)

I wanted to keep the card simple with a lot of wite space and a big pop of color. I just love that sentiment, it's from an old set but the font is super pretty, don't you think?
I stamped all the background with soft grey trees and colored the sky only inside the frame.

Friends Forever

I removed the ink from the faces of these two furry friends so they look as you were seeing them from the back. So they are enjoying each other while looking to the horizont into the woods... It's also like a "you color my world" reference :) Yes, I'm loosing my mind lol

Friends Forever - detail

Hi!!
Lawn Fawn release week continues today featuring a Fall stamp set, Sweater Weather that coordinates with the new Fall paper collection.

I started with Argyle Backdrops and created this card, of course I had to use the frame!! And because the font used in this set is the same that in the new Finley's ABCs dies, I wanted to create my own sentiment combining both :)

Lawn Fawn + Epiphany Crafts week

Hi everyone!
This week the Lawn Fawn DT is teaming up with Epiphany Crafts to feature products from both companies. I'm new to the Shape Studio Tools but I love playing with mine! I got the Pennant 25 and now I'm going to purchase the Round 25 one!

So I went the easy way and I made a card with a banner hehe. I love the new little acorn from Into the Woods and I couldn't wait more to make a card showcasing it. I applied some glossy accent on the acorn's bow so it matches with the banner.
For the chipboard letters, I just die cut several times each letter and glue them together, I love how they look, and it's an easy way to get dimension without having to put tiny foam adhesive behind each letter. Oh! And the stitched journaling card is from one of the Into the Woods journaling cards, I cut the title apart to use the cool arrow background.

Don't miss all the inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog all week long! And, as always, thank you so much for visiting my blog today, hugs!!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Woodgrain Backdrops, Into the Woods, Love n' Breakfast (bow), Milo's ABCs

Stitched Journaling Card + Cole's ABCs - LF Inspiration week

Hi again!
Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues today and we're featuring two "stand alone" dies: Stitching Journaling Card and Cole's ABCs.

The Stitching Journaling Card has been created thinking about scrapbookers and Project Lifers and I'm not good at any of both things but since the first time I saw this die, I love it!!
I think is perfect for cards and tags and I love the stitched border and the little die decorations that are included with it. I used it for cards in the last inspiration week, and I'm using it again with another featured set that I'll share this week so today I decided to use it alone as a tag.

I made a little treat bag (maybe with a piece of pie inside) and decorated it with a tag and a cute wooden fork. The adorable spoon and fork are from Happy Feast and I used Milo's ABCs for the sentiment.
I decorated the wooden fork with washi tape and a little heart from the row of hearts and I made the banner using the banner die.

Cole's ABCs is the first stand alone alpha set of dies. So versatile! I used it in my Halloween card the other day and today I wanted to use the negative space and make a non-traditional colors Christmas card. The sentiment is from Cozy Christmas and the Owl from Winter Owl, I just love him :)
The patterned paper and the little embellishments are from the Peace Joy Love collection.

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and a giveaway!
Hope you like what I'm sharing today, have a nice Monday, hugs!!

10' Craft Dash Challenge #25

Hello!!
Today I'm joining the fun with the girls of 10' Craft Dash Challenge, Lawn Fawn is sponsoring it and the color combo is too lovely to not to play!!

I made this simple card and I like it, sometimes I find myself adding too much stuff to the cards and, you know, sometimes less is more :) I need to practice this!

I mixed 3 sets, the cute birdie is from Winter Sparrows, the sentiment is from Our Friendship Grows and the little heart is from Peace Joy Love. Then I used paper from Into the Woods, this collection fits perfectly this challenge, don't you think?? and some new Hot Cocoa twine.

The trees from this patterned paper aren't white so I was no happy once I stamped my banner on white cardstock, then I decided to go with my E41 (Pearl White) Copic over it without any care and... yeah! I like it! Sometimes rushing is great to come up with new ideas!

I almost forgot!! I finished it in 09:42 I didn't stress myself too much and I almost run out of time!

Go and check Paulina's blog for the challenge rules and amazing inspiration from the DT. Thanks for visiting my blog today, have a wonderful day!!

Woodgrain Backdrops - Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week

Hi again!!
Today I have a new project to share with you to follow with the fun and celebrations of this Lawn Fawn inspiration week. We're featuring the newest set from the backdrop series and I don't know about you but I had been waiting for this one!

Due to limitations of clear stamps this woodgrain backdrop doesn't cover an entire card and maybe that scares you bit but trust me, it's super easy to use it and due to the imperfections of wood you can even play and rotate it, go a bit up or down, etc to get different results, I'm really enjoying playing with it and this texture is my favorite when stamping backgrounds :)
Also, it includes some fun little sentiments and images to play with and create cute decorations in your "wooden piece"

I wanted to make something different today and I decided to try myself at a wedding invitation (nope, I'm not getting married lol!) I know it's a bit complicated for a massive wedding, but I think it's pretty and special for a little and intime wedding, maybe one celebrated outdoors with a cute but elegant woodland decoration, muted tones, some bling... I can imagine it... What do you think?

Thanks so much for you visit today! For more inspiration and a giveaway, visit the Lawn Fawn blog! Hugs!!

Yay!! It's finally weekend!
And even better, Lawn Fawn fun continues today! ;) We are showcasing one of the new paper collections, Into the Woods, that coordinates with a super cute set with the same name (I LOVE it, BTW)

The paper collections in this release are my all time favorites. They have amazing patterns, great colors and they include journaling cards in the 12x12 version. And talking about that, journaling cards are not only for scrapbookers!! I'm loving them for my cards as you can see in my project today :)

Lawnscaping challenge #63: One Layer

Hi everyone!
First Monday of the month so new Lawnscaping challenge!! Ok, I know you read the title of the post, one layer card, and I know most of people don't like making one layer cards BUT it's a challenge, right? Let's have fun, it isn't so hard, really! ;)

Here's the card I made, I wanted to create a little scene and I decided to use one of the new critters from Into the Woods (available late August) and a matching custom sentiment using Riley's ABCs.

The DT girls have some amazing samples of one layers cards for you to inspire and I took some photos while making my card so you can see that you can achieve whatever you want for your one layer card just thinking ahead and going step by step.

Always start stamping what you want to be on the top of your scene, in my case, the cute skunk. Then, mask it and stamp the next thing nearer and so on. It's all about this, masking and stamping.
For the background I cut a stripe of grass and used both the die cut and the negative cut, the first one when coloring the sky with Distress inks, the negative, masking the sky to color the grass.

The last part was coloring the skunk with Copics, stamping the clouds, sentiment and hearts and drawing a stitching border with a pink marker. I hope you feel inspired by my little tutorial and play with us this time, I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Simon Says Stamp and they already have the new Lawn Fawn sets for pre-order *wink*

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Into the Woods (available late August), Riley's ABCs
- Memento ink: Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa
- Memento marker: Rose Bud
- Colorbox ink: Frost White, Pink
- Distress ink: Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn
