Balloons & a bunny - Lawn Fawn Feb inspiration week

Hi there!
Sorry, I've been disapeared yesterday! But today I have two projects to share with you :) Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues and we are featuring more fun and new products!

My first project uses many new products: I played with Party Balloons dies (I'm totally in love with them!!) and used the new Scripty Saying stamps for the Balloon's strings, mixing the different strings and separating the "Happy Birthday to you" sentiment.

Happy Birthday

All the coloring is made with the new Lawn Fawn inks, I sponged the balloons, mixing different colors to create a gradient and stamped the background with Hippo (the grey one). Then I added some sparkle with my Wink of Stella pen and you can see it in the picture!!! LOL I can't believe it! hahaha. I was starting to think that I could never be able to capture WInk of Stella's sparkle in a photo!

Happy Birthday - detail

I've made this other card using Eggstra Special Easter stamp set and coordinating dies. I colored all the images with Copic markers, having some fun decorating all those Easter eggs :P

Eggstra Special

I combined this super cute stamps with the new background stamp set Gingham Backdrops and the new stackables dies Stitched Squares. I love this stitched dies, they add an special touch to any card!

I had a lot of fun! I wanted to use the twine in a different way for this project because, you know, I use twine almost all the time :)

I worked with Natural and Valentine's twine and I love both so much! I'm seeing myself using a lot that pretty Natural twine, it looks gorgeous on kraft! <3 I want to thank you so much the people from Timeless Twine for their generosity.

I used the twine in 4 different ways, I hope you feel inspired to play with your twine (or get some new...) this weekend!

CHA Sneak Week - Trick or Treat and Yeti, Set, Go

Hi, hi!!
Lawn Fawn CHA Sneak Week continues and today I have more cards using the new stuff to share with you!!

The first one is featuring a super cute set called Yeti, Set, Go,  I love that happy Yeti! And the sentiments are simply adorable :)

The second one is an interactive card, you know how I love them!! If you move the star on top of the card, you can change the jar between treat (full of candy) or trick (the spiders ate all your candy, ha!)
I've never made this kind of interactive card before and it took me a lot of time to finish it. Why? Because jars are clear... so I had to match the background of "both optional jars" with the background of the card.

Anyway, I love Halloween cards, I love those bold colors and all Halloween related. So, of course, I'm a fan of this new mini called Trick or Treat, I love the fun type of the sentiment and what about those candy corn?? I've been waiting for Lawn Fawn candy corn and now, I have it, and it's CUTE!

I hope you feel inspired by my cards, they traveled to the USA some time ago and they will be exposed at CHA, so I'll be there in spirit, at least ;)

Lucky Stars - Lawn Fawn May Release Week

Welcome to day 3 of Lawn Fawn May Release week!
Today we have 2 new goodies to share, a new 3x4 set of sentiments called Lucky Stars and a new set of Lawn Cuts, Puffy Stars Stackables. The cool thing is that the sentiments match perfectly the stars and some of them are great to go inside of some of the stars, like I showcased on my card. I made some custom chipboard stars with very several layers of thick cardstock adhered together

I totally love this new set, the fonts are totally cute and the sentiments soo sweet! And what about the new dies?? The key is the word puffy, those stars are CUTE! :)

For the background, I stamped Chevron Backdrops on blue textured cardstock using white pigment ink, then sprayed it with Mr. Huey's mists and removed color here and there with a dry baby wipe.

Here's a close up of my custom chipboard stars ;)

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to discover another set and meanwhile, visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, a video and a giveaway!!

Wish Big - OWH card

Hi there!
I can smell the excitement in the air!! A new Lawn Fawn inspiration week has started and there are seven new amazing sets that will be released on May 31st!! Don't miss the Big Giveaway post on Lawn Fawn's blog to see some sneaky hints of the new sets and participate on the giveaways!

Tomorrow we will be featuring one of the new sets but today Lawn Fawn is participating on an Operation Write Home blog hop so I made a card for the hop and I've used one of the new stamps on it, yep!! That cool moustache!! Isn't it totally awesome? To see the full set you'll have to wait a few days... :P

I stamped the chevron stamp on a light blue cardstock and colored them with a copic to create a patterned paper, then I used it on the rosette and the little star.
Another useful thing I came up with is that you can color the alpha stickers to match your card, I colored  the coral ones with a dark pink copic to match my patterned paper :) I hope you like it!

Please visit the Lawn Fawn blog to see all the cards from other DT memebers, read all the details about this hop and Operation Write Home, and participate sending your cards :)

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: "Chevron Backdrops", "Claire's ABCs", "Critters Ever After" and a new stamp set :P
- Lawn Fawn alpha stickers
- Echo Park papers: "Soda Fountain" 6x6 paper pad
- Sizzix Framelits stars dies set
- Memento inks: "Tuxedo Black" and "Bahama Blue"
- Versafine "Satin Red"
- Copics
- Hemptique black cord
- Martha Stewart scoring board

I'm entering this card in the Lily Pad Cards Star challenge :)

Thank you very much for stopping by today! Please visit my blog tomorrow to see the first set of the new release! ;)
