Avery Elle, May Arts & UmWowStudio week!!

Hi there!
This is my second post today, don't miss my other post about my video interview at this week's episode of Iron Craft Season 2! Just click here or scroll down :)

This week the Avery Elle design team is playing with some ribbon from May Arts and fun products from UmWowStudio. And I really enjoyed playing with these products!!

I created 2 cards featuring the three companies all together and I must say that I think they match really well, don't you think so?

My first card uses a stencil from UmWowStudio, I used embossing paste and before it dried, I sprinkled it with coating clear sugar and clear glitter, I looove how it shines!
Then I used that gorgeous mint ribbon from May Arts and the cute mouse and sentiment from Avery Elle's Storybook stamp set.

Here's a close up so you can see the shine better

For my second card I used the Brushed Avery Elle stamp set and mostly Avery Elle inks to create the background. Laurels stamp set for the sentiment, then I adhered all those pretty butterflies from UmWowStudio and finally attached some rustic twine from May Arts. I like how this card turned out, very fresh and Spring-y I think :)

Hope you enjoyed my creations! Be sure to check out the Avery Elle Blog all this week for projects using May Arts ribbon and UmWowStudio products and a giveaway!!

Big hugs!!

We have a special Valentine's Day treat for you! Avery Elle and Tombow are teaming up and we have a fun blog hop for you today!

If you're here from the amazing Chunyuan Wu, then you’re in the right place,  if not then you may want to start at the beginning
Comment on all the Designers’ projects for your chance to win prize you are guaranteed to fall in love with! One lucky winner will get BOTH a $50 Gift certificate from Avery Elle and $50 worth of Tombow Adhesive!

And here's my project!
I used a pink Tombow marker (725) to create a background, drawing diagonal lines first with the big brush and then using the fine point.
Then I used the heart stitched die from Avery Elle and instead of cutting it with my Big Shot, I used it to emboss a piece of paper, then I stamped a sentiment on it.

And if you're wondering... I made this card for my anniversary which is today! :) We've been together for 13 years now and as I stamped: "The best is yet to come". I'm so thankful for him and I love him sooo much! <3

And now onto the prizes!
To be eligible to win, please comment on each of the designers projects  and don't forget to "Like" the Avery Elle Facebook Page and "Like" the Tombow Facebook Page. If you don’t have a Facebook, still comment on the projects and we will select someone to win a prize just for playing!

Guest designing with Avery Elle - Thinking of you

Hi there!

I keep making projects with the amazing Avery Elle stamps and today I have a new one to share with you. I'm featuring again the Laurels stamp set, I love working with it, it's super versatile!
I made a simple card with a color combo that I think is very very sweet and feminine and that is exactly what I want to transmit with this project :)
I hope you like it!!

Also, I want to share with you some happy news!! I'm one of the honorable mentions of the Paper Crafts magazine World Carmaking Day contest!! Yaaaay!! I'm really excited!!
I wanted to send them tons of cards but then, I couldn't. I had only one card done and I was afraid it didn't make it in time so I just sent that one card all alone. So you can imagine my joy!! My card will appear in the March issue so keep an eye on it! :D
