Hello there!
Today is the last day of February's Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and today we are featuring Good Fortune. This one is a versatile set that could be used for a lot of different occassions, to prove it I made two cards today!
My first card is a love card, perfect for Valentine's day but also for all year round, it's good to say I love you frequently! ;) The card is pretty simple but I needed to share this clever idea that my boyfriend had, he said why you don't open the box? Could you do it? And he gave me this idea on how to do it. I was thinking a moment and I said, of course, that will work! haha so here it is! And it is super easy! Just stamp the top of the box several times and cut the small triangles, then mask the top of the box, stamp again, glue the little triangles around the top and voila! you have an opened box :) Hope you like the idea and give it a try :)
My second card is a Happy New Year card, I think it's not too late to celebrate it, we're in a new Lunar Year, the snake year so Happy New Year to all of you :)
And because it's about the Chinese New Year, I made my card very Oriental-themed using gold, red and black and I paired this new set with an old one, Lunar Lights, I love totally this lights, in real life and of course the cute stamp version.
The flowers stamped on the background are from Summertime Charm, they are perfect as blossoms!
It's an interactive card so if you pull the piece of paper you'll discover your fortune for this new year, ha! Hope you like it! :)

Great, great cards!! i LOVE THEM!
I love how you always think 'outside the box', and in this case, you 'opened the box'! Both cards are so, so, cute!
Really beautiful cards! :)
Wow! These cards totally rock! What a brilliant idea to "open" the takeout box and your second card is so fabulous with the traditional colors and the addition of lunar lights- love!
Such a smart girl you are...The chopsticks holding the heart is pure genius...the colors and design with the little cookie and the fortune actually pulling out of it is fantastic.
Each time I visit, I am amazed at the gorgeous cards you create.
You're something special, my friend. always thinking of clever ways to use Lawn Fawn stamps. Both cards are out of this world!
LOVE how you colored the fortune cookies...they look so real!
I really should make a Pinterest board for nothing but "Yainea".
I love that Chinese New Year card so much! Would like to know how you made the pull out that piece of paper from the fortune cookies if you do not mind. :)
You are so clever! I love the opened box (awesome idea, BF!) and the pull out fortune is SO cool!
