I hope you had enjoyed a great weekend! Mondays are not my favorite day of the week but today it's sunny and warm and that definitely puts a smile on my face. It has been raining a lot lately!
I have a card that I'm sharing today at the Avery Elle's blog too. It's one of those kind of cards to have on hand to send just because. I'm featuring Sentimental stamps and dies and I think this is one of my favorite sets from this release. I love that they go along all the card, the font is super pretty and the sentiments are a great variety to cover almost all your needs :)
I picked the "hello" die and paired it with the mini stamp "my friend" to create my shaker card. I used a scalloped heart as my "shaker container" and fill it with Lucy's Little Things Purely Peppermint mix.
I created an ombre on the bottom with one of my newest Distress inks: Cracked Pistachio, and sprinkled it with some water and watercolors. Finally I addhered and stamped the sentiment and placed the cute little owl just as it was laying on the sentiment.
