Hello!!
Today I'm joining the fun with the girls of 10' Craft Dash Challenge, Lawn Fawn is sponsoring it and the color combo is too lovely to not to play!!
I made this simple card and I like it, sometimes I find myself adding too much stuff to the cards and, you know, sometimes less is more :) I need to practice this!
I mixed 3 sets, the cute birdie is from Winter Sparrows, the sentiment is from Our Friendship Grows and the little heart is from Peace Joy Love. Then I used paper from Into the Woods, this collection fits perfectly this challenge, don't you think?? and some new Hot Cocoa twine.
The trees from this patterned paper aren't white so I was no happy once I stamped my banner on white cardstock, then I decided to go with my E41 (Pearl White) Copic over it without any care and... yeah! I like it! Sometimes rushing is great to come up with new ideas!
I almost forgot!! I finished it in 09:42 I didn't stress myself too much and I almost run out of time!
Go and check Paulina's blog for the challenge rules and amazing inspiration from the DT. Thanks for visiting my blog today, have a wonderful day!!

10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Bash!
Hi all!
Today we're celebrating the first birthday of 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge!! I'm super excited of joining this blog hop with an amazing group of people and lots of inspiring (and quick!) birthday projects.
If you're coming from the blog of the super sweet Teri Anderson you're on the right place! If not, I know you won't miss this! Start on the Pretty Pink Posh blog for all the details and the full list of participants
The theme of the challenge is Birthday, of course! So I decided to make a birthday tag because what's a birthday without presents? And... You know every pretty present needs a tag ;)
I must confess that I had to make it twice because the first time it took me almost 15 mins to finish it! So I simplified it "a bit", no shading on the coloring, no background stamping, and so on.... well, at least I could finish it in time on my second try :)
I love the Lawn Fawn yeti from the set Yeti, Set, Go (that will be available on late August) used as little colorful monsters, are they cute or what??
If you have any question about how I made it, just ask in the comments or send me an email
I hope you like it! It took me 9:20 to finish it, phew!
After I finished the tag I wanted to make a card too. But this time I prefered not to look like a crazy girl while making it so I went for a simple, happy and easy desing and I had plenty of time to finish it
This one took me 07:44 and yes, it was a way more relaxed crafty time :)
Paulina has prepared a big celebration full of giveaways for random comments on the hop:
And a GREAT prize for this challenge's winner: A $50 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson's store plus an amazing prize pack:
I hope you feel inspired by all our creations and jump into your craft room to make something for the challenge!
The next step on the hop is the very talented Daniela Dobson!
Thank you so much for your visit today!! Have a nice day!

10 minute Craft Dash - Challenge #14
Hi! This is my second post for today (double post two times in a week?! seriously?? lol!) If you want to see my Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week project featuring Home Sweet Home, just scroll down or click HERE.
Lawn Fawn is sponsoring it so I'm joining the fun of 10 minute Craft Dash!! If you don't know about this challenge, visit the blog and read how it works and its rules. Basically, you must finish your card in less than 10 minutes. I'm a SLOW cardmaker so I was afraid of not finishing my card and I didn't join it... until now! And I did it!! I can't believe it, haha :)
For this time, you have to finish your card in less than 10 minutes and use the color combo in the banners. This is my card, for some reason, the ribbon looks very greyish in the pic, but it's green!! The card is pretty simple but with 10 minutes I couldn't think of anything more complicated lol! And I finished it in 08:33:68 to be exact :P
It was super fun and I'm going to join this challenge more often in the future. If you, like me, are afraid because of the time, I have a few tips for you and I know I couldn't do it without them!
- Plan and sketch your card before starting
- Collect all your materials and prepare them on your table, all of them ready to use. For example, your clear stamps ready on your acrylic blocks
- Don't clean anything during the process, do it after your card is finished
- Just before starting, think about the steps you're going to follow, so you won't block when the time is running!
- And finally, think about things that could speed up your process. For example, I placed both dies on my Big Shot at the same time, a little thing that saved me a bit of time :)
Here's a screenshot of my chronometer when I finished my card (Yes I'm super proud hahaha)
Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Love 'n Breakfast, So Much to Say
- Amy Tangerine 6x6 paper pad: Yes, please!
- Papertrey Ink oval dies
- Stampin'Up ribbon
- Copics
- Memento ink: Tuxedo Black
