Snow Globe - AE card

Hi again!!

**This is my second post today, you can see my Lawn Fawn inspiration week project just scrolling down or clicking here, thanks!!**

It's my turn featuring Snow Globe at Avery Elle blog and I'm really excited because I'm in love with this set since the first time I saw it. It's just so sweet and magical and whimsical!

I used it to make a shacker card (of course!!) and I chose green and kraft as my main palette to create a soft and sweet look for the cute deer.
The sentiment is from Fa La La, I said I was going to use it a lot, haha! I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold. I'm a sucker for gold in Christmas cards! :)

SnowGlobe

I hope you like it!

My wall matches wonderfully with this collection lol!

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week - Winter Owl

Hi!!
It's my favorite time of the month again!! Lawn Fawn inspiration week starts today with lots of inspiration and giveaways, as always! ;)

Today we are featuring one of my favorite sets, Winter Owl. I think I'm addicted to the winter critters series, I totally love them and this new addiction couldn't be any cuter!

For my project I made a slider mini card and beacuse it's very small, it can be used as a cute Christmas tag too. I've been playing with this slider cards and I must say they're pretty awesome!! It's not very easy to see on a photo but If you pull of the ribbon, both sides inside the card, up and bottom, appear so you can see the sentiment. I'll definitely make a video tutorial to show you how this is made :)

This is how the card looks closed:

If you pull of the ribbon, the card opens:

And this is how the card looks all opened:

Lawnscaping challenge #44: New technique

Happy Monday!!
Hi! Today is the second Monday of the month so... It's time for another Lawnscaping challenge! All you must do to enter this challenge is try a new technique when you make your project, is that fun!

I won't lie you, I had a hard time with this challenge, lol! I tried some new techniques that ended like a total mess, even one of my jeans ended all inked, and It's pigment ink!! Ooooops!

Finally, I decided to try something less original and I inked an embossing folder for my card. I know this is not new for most of you but I've never tried it and I love it! I used Wet Cement ink and the embossed stripes look deeper and cool. :)
Also, I'm starting to learn how to crochet so I crocheted a chain using Lawn Trimmings and added to my card. I fun when you can mix your different hobbies ;)
I love the color combo in this card, it's based on the colors from the stripe of cloth from Amy Tangerine, I started adding colors and layers and this card came up with lots of dimension!

Well, enough blabling, I'd love if you join us in this challenge! It's sponsored by Lawn Fawn so you could win a stamp set of your choice! yum yum :)

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week - Fa-La-La

Hi again!
So the fun continues today with the Lawn Fawn inspiration week and a new paper collection, Fa-La-La. This is a great Christmas collection and one of the things I love from it is that you can make a project with traditional Christmas colors or choose different papers and make something totally different, yes, I'm talking about that cute soft yellow in the collection :)

I've been playing with all theese papers and stickers and I made some Christmas treat bags, it's fun, easy and quick and there are so many possibilities!

Here's a little idea: stick a number on each one and you will have a cute Advent calendar ;) I thought of this idea too late to make 24 (or 25) treat bags but I wanted to share it anyways. I think they would look super cute hanging with clothespines between other Christmas decorations.

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and an amazing giveaway ;)

Thanks for all the nice comments yesterday, you made my day!! And thanks for stopping by today too. I hope you've enjoyed my project for today, I have another for tomorrow!
