Stitched Journaling Card + Cole's ABCs - LF Inspiration week

Hi again!
Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues today and we're featuring two "stand alone" dies: Stitching Journaling Card and Cole's ABCs.

The Stitching Journaling Card has been created thinking about scrapbookers and Project Lifers and I'm not good at any of both things but since the first time I saw this die, I love it!!
I think is perfect for cards and tags and I love the stitched border and the little die decorations that are included with it. I used it for cards in the last inspiration week, and I'm using it again with another featured set that I'll share this week so today I decided to use it alone as a tag.

I made a little treat bag (maybe with a piece of pie inside) and decorated it with a tag and a cute wooden fork. The adorable spoon and fork are from Happy Feast and I used Milo's ABCs for the sentiment.
I decorated the wooden fork with washi tape and a little heart from the row of hearts and I made the banner using the banner die.

Cole's ABCs is the first stand alone alpha set of dies. So versatile! I used it in my Halloween card the other day and today I wanted to use the negative space and make a non-traditional colors Christmas card. The sentiment is from Cozy Christmas and the Owl from Winter Owl, I just love him :)
The patterned paper and the little embellishments are from the Peace Joy Love collection.

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and a giveaway!
Hope you like what I'm sharing today, have a nice Monday, hugs!!

A very fawny holiday - Stamp on a candle

Hi!
This week Lawn Fawn is celebrating a special holiday inspiration week full of fun stuff: projects using all their Christmas stamps and papers, videos, giveaways... Sounds great, right? ;)

Today I'm joining the celebrations with a video showing how to stamp on a candle. Well, when you see the video you will notice that you don't stamp on the candle but, ok, the stamped image its on the candle in the end :P

Please, visit Lawn Fawn blog to take a look on my video! I hope you enjoy it and you try the technique, it's pretty easy and it makes a perfect gift for Christmas :)

Tip: If you want to work with colored candles, make sure you use a candle completely made of that color. I've realized that there are a lot of colored candles that only have a bath of color. I only stamped on two colored candles: The red one on the video and the green one using And a Partidge for the Inspiration Week so I don't have a lot of experience but I've learned that the final result is better when the candle is completely colored, the one in the video has a bath of red, but is white in its core, you can see it on the bottom of the candle.

About if you can burn the candle... I found on the Internet that the answer is yes! BUT I'm testing it, I will share my inquiries with you soon ;) Anyway, never leave a burning candle unattended!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Halloween leftovers

Hi!!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! I've been on a trip all week with my boyfriend, we were visiting Budapest, Hungary so even when I made some Halloween projects in advance, a cause of some technical issues and lack of time I couldn't post them and I missed Halloween!! >.<

I took photos of 3 projects and I have other 3 not completely finished that I'll not share this time. It's a whole year until next Halloween so I can't wait so long to share the ones I have photos of. I hope you enjoy them :)

The first project I want to show you is a card that you have propably seen on Lawn Fawn blog this week. We teamed up with Scrapbook Adhesives and created a project using their products. I must say I've never used them before and I totally love them! Love the thinner 3D foam dots combined with the normal ones to create a lot of dimension. I also love the little glue dots, they're super useful!

So I made a Halloween card combining lots of Lawn Fawn sets. I really enjoy doing this!! Here are a pair of phone pics of how I made the owl. I masked all the owl except from the scarf and stamped the little stars from Critters Ever After.

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Winter owl, Hats off to you, A birdie told me, Critters Down Under, Critters Ever After, Happy Everything and Belinda's Borders
- Lawn Fawn Retro trimmings
- Scrapbook Adhesives
- Doodlebug Design papers: Haunted Manor 6x6 pad
- Memento inks: Tuxedo Black and Grape Jelly
- Googly Eyes
- Copics

My second project features a Deasy Designs stamp set. The sad news is that the clear stamps from this company are no longer available but you can purchase it as a digital stamp here.

Well, I made a set of Halloween treat bag toppers, and I love them! I used a lit of the images in the set following the same scheme for the four different toppers. I LOVE the spooky skyline so I clear embossed it to create my background, then I colored with copics some of the images and place them with foam adhesives. I added some googly eyes here and there for more fun!

Supply list:
- Deasy Designs stamps: Boo to You
- Doodlebug Design papers: Haunted Manor 6x6 pad
- Copics
- May Arts ribbon
- Bazzil Card Shoppe colored cardstock
- Googly Eyes
- Scrapbook Adhesives: 3D foam dots and adhesive runner
- Versafine ink: Onyx Black
- Versamark ink and clear embossing powder

My third project is a fun card full of googly eyes and glitter! I used glue dots from Scrapbook Adhesives to place all those eyes super quicky!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Teeny Tiny backdrops and Sally's ABCs
- Googly eyes
- Doodlebug Design papers: Haunted Manor 6x6 pad
- Scrapbook Adhesives

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week - Winter Owl

Hi!!
It's my favorite time of the month again!! Lawn Fawn inspiration week starts today with lots of inspiration and giveaways, as always! ;)

Today we are featuring one of my favorite sets, Winter Owl. I think I'm addicted to the winter critters series, I totally love them and this new addiction couldn't be any cuter!

For my project I made a slider mini card and beacuse it's very small, it can be used as a cute Christmas tag too. I've been playing with this slider cards and I must say they're pretty awesome!! It's not very easy to see on a photo but If you pull of the ribbon, both sides inside the card, up and bottom, appear so you can see the sentiment. I'll definitely make a video tutorial to show you how this is made :)

This is how the card looks closed:

If you pull of the ribbon, the card opens:

And this is how the card looks all opened:

Awww... I just love this adorable couple :) I hope you like my project for today, please, come back tomorrow, we will be featuring another set from the last release!
