Winter card and a little giveaway ;)

Hi!
How is your week so far? I hope everything is fine!
I want to share with you a card I made for the Creating Keepsakes blog:

I used an acetate sheet to give dimension, and adhered some snow, the sentiment and the little snowman on it. I also added some stickles and snow paint so it looks very pretty on person! :) I hope you like it! Here's the under layer:

And now (and sorry for being this late!) a little giveaway as my way to say thank you to all of you, for being there, to celebrate my blogaversary and my recent hit of 100 followers :)

All you have to do is to leave a comment on this post. You don't need to be a follower but if you love what I do, that will make me happy too!

I'll choose a random winner on Feb 8, so you have a whole week (and a bit) to comment for a chance to win and of course I'll ship anywhere in the world :)

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great week!

Cinderella's wish - Lawnscaping challenge #49

Hi!!
This is the first Lawnscaping challenge of the year and we're celebrating Lawnscaping's birthday too so, is there any better challenge than "let's party" for the occassion? As this is a special challenge I'd love that you join us!!

I've made this card inspired by Cinderella's tale. I used a lot of stamps to create the magical scene and I think that a little girl would love it!

The little dots and splashes are from Perfect Pearls Mist, it gives a nice shiny look but I couldn't photograph the shine and it looks a bit weird... I hope you like it, anyway!

I've also decorated the inside of the card. I don't do this very often and I don't know why because I think it's really lovely and little surprise for the receiver :)

Our sponsor in this challenge is Simon Says Stamp so you could win a $25 gift certificate to their store. Isn't that great? ;)

Thanks for stopping by, have an amazing week!!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Critters Ever After, Critters on the Farm, Hats of to You, Sweet Christmas and Harvest Season
- Memento ink: Tuxedo Black
- Jenni Bowlin ink: Speckled Egg

Lawn Fawn + Faber Castell week

Hello there!
This week the design team of Lawn Fawn is teaming up with Faber-Castell. And I've been playing with a Mixed Media metallic set and I had so much fun that I made two projects!

My first project is a CAS card. I stamped everything on watercolor paper inking my stamps with the artist pens and then I colored the stars with the art grip aquarelle pencils and blended with water :)

For my second project I decorated a mini book where I'll write my favorite holiday recipes. Loved the idea of some sugar cookies on a baking trail hee hee!
I dyed the ribbon using golden gelatos and water. Then I colored the baking tray (a piece of black cardstock) with the silver art grip aquarelle pencil and water and when it dried, I drawed the border line with the artist pen. The cookies are colored with gelatos and aquarelle pencil + water.

I hope you like my projects for today!! Thanks for stopping by :)

Supply list:

- Lawn Fawn papers: Fa-La-La petite paper pad

A very fawny holiday - Stamp on a candle

Hi!
This week Lawn Fawn is celebrating a special holiday inspiration week full of fun stuff: projects using all their Christmas stamps and papers, videos, giveaways... Sounds great, right? ;)

Today I'm joining the celebrations with a video showing how to stamp on a candle. Well, when you see the video you will notice that you don't stamp on the candle but, ok, the stamped image its on the candle in the end :P

Please, visit Lawn Fawn blog to take a look on my video! I hope you enjoy it and you try the technique, it's pretty easy and it makes a perfect gift for Christmas :)

Tip: If you want to work with colored candles, make sure you use a candle completely made of that color. I've realized that there are a lot of colored candles that only have a bath of color. I only stamped on two colored candles: The red one on the video and the green one using And a Partidge for the Inspiration Week so I don't have a lot of experience but I've learned that the final result is better when the candle is completely colored, the one in the video has a bath of red, but is white in its core, you can see it on the bottom of the candle.

About if you can burn the candle... I found on the Internet that the answer is yes! BUT I'm testing it, I will share my inquiries with you soon ;) Anyway, never leave a burning candle unattended!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Lawn Fawn & Marker Pop

Hi!!
Today Lawn Fawn and Marker Pop are teaming up to feature Lawn Fawn stamps and Copic Markers, thats a great combo, right?!

Copics are usually the coloring medium on my cards so I wanted to make something new for me and I colored the sky on the scene with copics too. Also I created a fake patterned paper coloring Neenah Solar White cardstock with YG03 and drawing some lines with YG17. I think it's an easy way to macth an image when you don't have an aproppiate paper.

These are the copics I've used:
Reds: R22, R24, R29
Sky: B0000, BG11 and colorless blender
Trees and fake patterned paper: YG21, YG03, YG17
Santa's belt: Y35, YR04
Santa's face: E41, E51, R20

If you have any question, just leave a comment or send me an email! :)

Supply list:
Lawn Fawn stamps: Let it snow, Hats off to you, Gone sweet gnome, Bannerific, Harold's ABCs and Sweet Christmas.
Neenah cardstock: Solar White and Desert Sand
Versamark ink and white embossing powder

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week - Sweet Christmas

Happy Sunday, everyone! :)
Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week started yesterday so today all the DT girls are featuring one of the new sets, Sweet Christmas.

I know a lot of people already has this set, for those of you that don't have it, what are you waiting for?? ;)
It's so so cute and fun!! I totally adore it, it's one of my favorites and not only it's great for Christmas projects because you can use it for birthday cards, "you are so sweet" cards or you can use the house without candy for all kind of everyday projects like "welcome to the neighbourhood" or "home sweet home"... Well, there are lots of different possibilities!!

I used it on easy mode, to make a Christmas card :) Hmmm... I think it's my first Christmas card this year!! I hope you like it!

I wanted to give the look of gingerbread decorated cookies so I used white embossing powder on kraft cardstock and color cardstock as royal icing. I had a lot of fun making the white on white background with almost all the candy of the set and it looks really pretty in person!

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog to enter the giveaways and find more inspiration from my fabulous DT teammies :)
