Lawnscaping challenge #103: Dimension

Hi there!!

I hope you have an amazing weekend! We have some extra blank days due to Easter here in Spain and they were warm and sunny so I really enjoyed them! :)

So, here's the new Lawnscaping challenge, this time is an easy one (at least for me) because we challenge you to add dimension to your project. Fun, right?

I created a comic-style card using the owl from Critters in Costume, a fun card to cheer up someone. I added dimension here and there with foam adhesive and a bit more dimension with an embossing folder.

Here for You

I inked the embossing folder with blue ink so the deeper rays were darker too and so create a stronger sense of dimension, it's easy to see it in real person, though.

Here for You - detail

I hope you feel inspired and join us this time, I love seeing all your projects in the gallery! Also, if you're the lucky winner our amazing sponsor, Ellen Hutson,  has for you an amazing prize:

Thanks for stopping by, have a nice day!! :)

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Critters in Costume, On the Mend, A Birdie Told Me
- Lawn Fawn dies: Critters in Costume
- Copic markers
- Papertrey ink embossing folder

But if you don't like Halloween or you don't celebrate it and don't have Halloween stamps or papers, don't worry! You still can join us using this color combo on your project :)

I made a Halloween card even when we barely celebrate it in Spain I really love making cards with this theme, I love the bright colors and fun and cute Halloween stamps.

I hope you like it and feel inspired to join us in this fun challenge! You can find a lot of inspiration on the Lawnscaping blog and the rules to participate. You could win a Lawn Fawn stamp set of your choice, so yummy!!

Bee Mine

Hi!
I have a card for you just to share how Critters in Costume can be used for occassions all year round! I made a Thanksgiving card, a Halloween card and a Valentine's card so far, let's see if I can come up with something more in the future, ha!

So I paired the bear from Critters in Costume with the bees from Bee Mine and I mirror stamped one of them to face the cute bear.
I don't have a big heart die so I drawn a heart on the back of the paper and then I cut it. I used papers from both the new collections, and because the red one was too bright, I toned it down with a layer of vellum for a softer look.

Oh! And I want to recommend you an adhesive for vellum, as you can see in the smallest heart it's almost invisible! It's a permanent fine adhesive runner from Scrapbook Adhesives, I keep it only for vellum and I love it!

Have a great day!!
