Stitched Hillside Pop-Ups - Lawn Fawn August release week

Hello!

It's last day of August inspiration week but this means tomorrow everything from the new release will be available to purchase!! Woohoo!!

Today I'm featuring Stitched Hillside Pop-Ups, a super fun adittion to the inside of your cards!! They are easy to use but just in case, you can see an explanation video at the Lawn Fan blog.

I made a spooky card using this new die with Happy Haunting stamps, Little Town border and Chibitronics lights, yes it lights up!!
I created the night sky by masking a circle and blending different Distress inks. Finally, I draw little stars with a white gel pen.

It was super hard to take a picture of the lights, I included 4 led stickers behind the first hill and they add a cool glow effect to the green sky, hee hee

I hope you enjoyed my project for today but believe me, you need to go and check out the Lawn Fawn blog, the projects from all the DT are beyond amazing!! Oh, and you don't want to miss the giveaway :P

Thanks for your support and your visit, have a great day!!

Lawn Fawn & Core'dinations week!

Hola! Happy Wednesday!
It's my turn to share my Lawn Fawn + Core'dinations project! This two great companies are teaming up this week so be sure to visit both blogs everyday for a lot of inspiration and giveaways ;)

First of all I want to thank the people of Core'dinations for the big amount of fantastic stuff, I love it abd I'm enjoying it a lot!

And now, onto the card! I made a Halloween project because sanding Core'dinations cardstock is supah fun and Halloween cards are perfect for a distressed background. So I used Black Magic cardstock, embossed it and then sanded it with the Sand it Gadget. This produces a lot of dust and the Dust Buddy is amazingly effective to clean it up! Once the background is done, I just played with some Lawn Fawn stuff and used Core'dinations cardstock for the ghosts as well.

Oh! And have you seen that banner? I wanted something different and more fun than the classic banner and it's not a new die, just the Scalloped Circle Stackables! I love when I can do more with the things I have!
Here's how I did it, just place the die this way and run it through your cutting machine :)

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! Have a nice day!

Lawn Fawn Valentine's Week

Hi friends!
Because there are only a few days left before Valentine's day, all the DT at Lawn Fawn were making projects these last days to inspire you to use the cute Lawn Fawn stamps to make your cards. I love to use Lawn Fawn stamps to say I love you in some different ways, they are so cute and adorable that I think they're perfect to transmit that sweet sentiment :)

This time, my card is a bit "think out of the box", I had this idea a long time ago so last week I had some free time and enjoyed a great time playing with my stamps :) As you can see, I've used a lot of sets!!:

   - All the hearts are from Bee Mine. except the background on the circle, that is made with Belinda's Borders and the same stamp using the back side.

   - The background is from Interlocking Backgrounds, the turquoise stripe is stamped with an arrow included in an exclusive set made for Studio Calico called This Way to Fun, but you could get a similar look with the new background set ;) The ponk stripe is made with I've got Mail.

   - The ghosts souls are from Happy Haunting (mirror stamping technique) and the sentiment is stamped with a part of "you are my sunshine" from Sunny Skies and Jessie's ABCs.
Sooo I think it's a total of 8 sets, haha!!

I wanted to use the Fourteen collection from Crate Paper to make this card but when I found it in stock (thanks Gisel!) I realized it won't arrive in time so I played with my stamps and cardstock with the collection's color palette in mind (well... more or less...). I hope you like it!!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please, don't forget to visit Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration!! :)

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week - So thankful

Hello friends!
Today is the last day of September Inspiration Week and I really enjoyed this one :)

I must confess that I've always loved Inspiration Weeks, each day, the first thing I did in the morning was visiting Lawn Fawn's blog to see the DT projects and this has not changed because I don't see the other DT projects before the post is released so, I'm totally excited about each one of the Inspiration Week days! :)

Today, the star of the show is a mini set called So thankful. And I LOVE the cute mini pumpkins in it! They also match perfect with the bigger pumpkin in Harvest Season set.

This mini has been created as a Thanksgiving / Fall set but, as all Lawn Fawn sets, it can be used for other themes like Halloween. With this idea in mind I decided to play a little with it and I made two almost identical cards with different themes, Thanksgiving and Halloween. I hope you like my little experiment!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week - Hoppy Halloween

Hi friends! :)

The excitement continues today with another Lawn Fawn release, this time we're featuring a cute mini set, Hoppy Halloween. Even when Halloween is not very popular in Spain, I love it, all the decorations, the costumes, the bright colors... and of course, the stamps! ;)

So I've made a card with a spooky cute Halloween scene. This little vampire rabbit, Bunnicula, is sucking the juice out of all the carrots and wishing you a "Hoppy Halloween"! hee hee

I used other sets to complete the scene. I wanted a castle for our cute little vampire and then I thought: I have the perfect one! The castle of Critters Ever After colored in dark tones is a perfect spooky castle, don't you think?

The other elements are from Happy Haunting, a set that I totally love <3

I hope you like my little scene! Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for amazing inspirating inspiration and a cool giveaway!!
