Year Two - Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week

Hi Friends!
Today it's the last day of Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week and we're featuring the new mini, Year Two and the new dies, stackable circles.
I love that, as the Year Two mini didn't release past year, it's a happy belated Birthday set! Isn't it cute or what??

The other day I realized that I don't make masculine cards... like never. So this is a little attempt of a birthday boy card.

Oh! And I want to share a little trick I used here. I inked the wood veneer stars on Versamark ink pad and then heat embossed with color embossing powder. I don't have dark blue embossing powder so I used white powder and then, I colored it with a dark blue copic marker, this way I can match patterned papers, cardstock... everything! :)

I hope you feel inspired by my project, as always, don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog to the projects from the other DT girls and the video by Kelly Marie. And don't forget to comment there for a chance to win the giveaway!!

Thanks for sharing your time with me during these days, have an amazing rest of the week!

This one is a special edition only for dogs, Critters at the Dog Park.
I've been waiting for stuff like a bone, a paw print, a hydrant... this set is full of cuteness! And a coordinating set of dies will be released as well! I'm becoming a lazy girl :P

Lucky Stars - Lawn Fawn May Release Week

Welcome to day 3 of Lawn Fawn May Release week!
Today we have 2 new goodies to share, a new 3x4 set of sentiments called Lucky Stars and a new set of Lawn Cuts, Puffy Stars Stackables. The cool thing is that the sentiments match perfectly the stars and some of them are great to go inside of some of the stars, like I showcased on my card. I made some custom chipboard stars with very several layers of thick cardstock adhered together

I totally love this new set, the fonts are totally cute and the sentiments soo sweet! And what about the new dies?? The key is the word puffy, those stars are CUTE! :)

For the background, I stamped Chevron Backdrops on blue textured cardstock using white pigment ink, then sprayed it with Mr. Huey's mists and removed color here and there with a dry baby wipe.

Here's a close up of my custom chipboard stars ;)

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to discover another set and meanwhile, visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, a video and a giveaway!!

Lawnscaping challenge #54: Stitching

Hi again! ;) This is my second post today so if you're looking for my Lawn Fawn project  featuring Daphne's Closet collection, just scroll down or click HERE!

It's time for another Lawnscaping challenge! And it's all about stitching, either real or faux :)

I wanted to try some real stitching because it's a thing I barely do. AND this was my first time using my sewing machine on a card (the green zig zag on the borders) it's super easy! I always was afraid of messing up everything so I hadn't do it. But this time I got my sewing machine and did it, and... it's really easy... nothing to be afraid of :) So I'm thankful for this challenge, I'm going to do this more often on my cards :)

The pink paper plane trail is hand stitched but, no, I'm not that professional, my hand stitching is poor so I tricked a bit! ;) I stamped the bee trail with a very soft ink, then I made little holes following the line with a needle and with all that done, sewing is very easy and the final look is very cool!

Also, I have to mention that I LOVE this patterned paper! When I saw the collection it surprised me because it has a map of my country and it includes the name of my city!! :) Well, I know it could seem a nonsence to you but I'm ecited about this haha. I f you wonder, my city's name is Lugo, it's in the north east, just below the paper plane's end :P

I hope you join us for this challenge, our sponsor this time is Lawn Fawn and you could win a stamp set of your choice! The problem is which one to choose! ha! :)

Don't forget to visit Lawnscaping blog for more inspiration!

- Lawn Fawn stamps: Flying By

Daphne's Closet - Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

Hi and happy Monday!!
Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues today and we're featuring one of the new paper collections, Daphne's Closet. This is a fun collection where you can find sweet elements like flowers mixed with trendy elements like arrows or triangles so you can made a wide variety of different kind of projects with it!

I've been playing with the new Lawn cuts and made two cards using papers and stickers from Daphne's Closet.

For the first one, I used the hearts Lawn cuts (I LOVE these!!) on a white cardstock and on a mix of patterns, then fill the holes with the patterns and fold the sides of the white hearts and glue on the patterned ones. I think it looks pretty and you can use this design with different sentiments. I simply added a cute sticker from the collection :)

I went a bit crazy with the second one, hehe :) I used A Birdie Told Me Lawn Cuts and a mix of different papers and stickers to create this card.

Hope you like what I made for today! Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to come back tomorrow because the inspiration week continues for two days more! Also, take a look at the Lawn Fawn blog because Kelly Marie has a cool video waiting for you and my teammies have amazing projects featuring this cool collection!

Hugs!
