Lawnscaping challenge #71: Tags or Treat Bags

Happy first Monday of December!
And that means a new Lawncaping challenge! This time, and because Christmas is just around the corner, the challenge is about making tags or treat bags, you know, to help you have all your presents ready in time ;) and have some fun by the way!

I decorated a bag of tea that I purchased last week because I think it's cute and it was that I had at hand but you can decorate all kind of bags with this same design.

First I stamped with gold ink the pretty stars background by HA. Then I used ribbon and twine to wrap the bag, and then glued a glittered embossed die cut base, a made with Peace Joy Love papers and a circle stamped with sentiments from Cozy Christmas. Easy peasy!!

I hope you feel inspired and join the challenge this time, I love seeing your projects in the gallery! This time our sponsor is Simon Says Stamp, is that cool or what?

Thank you so much for stopping by on my little blog today, have a great week!!

Thank you so much for your sweet comments, I always smile when I receive a new email alert about a new comment :)

Winter in the Park - Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

Hi again!
Welcome to another post of the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week! Today the star of the show is Winter in the Park, a super pretty 3x4" set perfect for Winter/Christmas scenes but also for all-year park scenes!
Of course, I wanted to use it to make a winter-y scene :) It looks so peaceful... I love it!

I made a card with a panel that you can open pulling on the snowflake tab to see the background and sentiment.
I'm not going to lie, this card was hard to make, this one was my unique attempt but I made some mistakes, I'm always afraid when all the scene is masking and stamping, it's easier to place everything when you have cutout images!

And if you open it...

I also used glossy accents, stickles and embossing powder but it's hard to see it in the photos but here's a closer look:

Hope you like it, it's a lovely set, isn't it? I needed to add a pair of red birds from Making Frosty Friends that really pop on the card :)

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration from the other DT members, a video from Kelly and a giveaway!

Peace Joy Love paper collection - LF September Inspiration Week

Hello!
This is the third day of Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week and today we're showcasing the Peace Joy Love paper collection, a super pretty Christmas collection that I totally love <3

All the patterns are cute and gorgeous and you can use lots of them for all year cards. And what about the adorable matching ornaments? I loove the sequins and snowflakes!

One of my favorite things about this collection is the tags and journaling cards included in the 12x12 sheets, that you can die cut using the Stitched Journaling Card die or the Winter Gifts big die. But the awesome thing is that you can use the Winter Gifts small die with the 6x6 sheet to get adorable mini tags! I have a little stash of them already die cut and ready for use!

Ooops! Let's go ahead and see what I made for today

I used the flair (because I'm really enjoying ading flair to my projects) I die cut a tag from the 12x12 sheet of tags and I used some lovely sequins and snowflakes. Of course, the main character is the cute Winter Bunny, one of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamps that has now its own die (so well deserved btw) :)

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and a giveaway!

Thank you so much for your visit today!! Have a nice day and come back tomorrow for another LF project ;)

Stitched Journaling Card + Cole's ABCs - LF Inspiration week

Hi again!
Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues today and we're featuring two "stand alone" dies: Stitching Journaling Card and Cole's ABCs.

The Stitching Journaling Card has been created thinking about scrapbookers and Project Lifers and I'm not good at any of both things but since the first time I saw this die, I love it!!
I think is perfect for cards and tags and I love the stitched border and the little die decorations that are included with it. I used it for cards in the last inspiration week, and I'm using it again with another featured set that I'll share this week so today I decided to use it alone as a tag.

I made a little treat bag (maybe with a piece of pie inside) and decorated it with a tag and a cute wooden fork. The adorable spoon and fork are from Happy Feast and I used Milo's ABCs for the sentiment.
I decorated the wooden fork with washi tape and a little heart from the row of hearts and I made the banner using the banner die.

Cole's ABCs is the first stand alone alpha set of dies. So versatile! I used it in my Halloween card the other day and today I wanted to use the negative space and make a non-traditional colors Christmas card. The sentiment is from Cozy Christmas and the Owl from Winter Owl, I just love him :)
The patterned paper and the little embellishments are from the Peace Joy Love collection.

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and a giveaway!

Woodgrain Backdrops - Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week

Hi again!!
Today I have a new project to share with you to follow with the fun and celebrations of this Lawn Fawn inspiration week. We're featuring the newest set from the backdrop series and I don't know about you but I had been waiting for this one!

Due to limitations of clear stamps this woodgrain backdrop doesn't cover an entire card and maybe that scares you bit but trust me, it's super easy to use it and due to the imperfections of wood you can even play and rotate it, go a bit up or down, etc to get different results, I'm really enjoying playing with it and this texture is my favorite when stamping backgrounds :)
Also, it includes some fun little sentiments and images to play with and create cute decorations in your "wooden piece"

I wanted to make something different today and I decided to try myself at a wedding invitation (nope, I'm not getting married lol!) I know it's a bit complicated for a massive wedding, but I think it's pretty and special for a little and intime wedding, maybe one celebrated outdoors with a cute but elegant woodland decoration, muted tones, some bling... I can imagine it... What do you think?

Thanks so much for you visit today! For more inspiration and a giveaway, visit the Lawn Fawn blog! Hugs!!
