Lawn Fawn + Add A Little Dazzle week

Hola!
Lawn Fawn and Add a Little Dazzle are teaming up this week to show you projects combining the amazing products of both companies so that means lots of fun and giveaways!

Add a Little Dazzle has these metal sheets that add a cool touch to your project, they look like foil but they're thicker and stronger. So you can die cut or emboss them.

Make a wish

They look amazing embossed but I went classic with my project and just cut stripes to create a background, I love how it looks!!

Make a wish - detail

I kept the card simple and just add the anchor of Float my Boat and the cute crab from Life is Good (he's being the star of the show this Summer, isn't he??) with some embellishments and the word bubble from Chit Chat. I really really like these word bubbles and the fonts used with them :)

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn and Add a Little Dazzle blogs for more inspiration and giveaways! Thank you so much for stopping by! :)

You & Me mini book

Hola!

I'm here today to share a mini book I made using the new Stitched Party Banners and some other Lawn Fawn products :)

I used Let's Polka on all pages because it's full of fun, colorful and easy basic patterns to start everything. For each page, I just cut a piece of cardboard with the big banner die and two of patterned paper and glued a patterned paper on each side of the cardboard. I used my Crop A Dile to give a nice look to each page with coordinating eyelets.

I wanted a fun cover so I mixed different elements from the lastest Lawn Fawn stuff: the circle is a watercolor paper colored with an ombre effect and then cut with the stitched circle included in Stitched Party Banners, then I die cut the ampersand from Louie's ABCs and substitued it with another die cut from white cardstock.
For the "you" and "me" I wanted to give them the look of big labels so I heat embossed with white the new Clark's ABCs on black cardstock stripes and then covered them with glossy accents.
Finally, the polaroid is from #Awesome, colored with copics.

I hope you like it and feel inspired to create your own mini book! It's really easy and perfect to document a little trip, birthday or just to give as a gift!

It's almost weekend so I wish you have a great one!! Hugs!!

Scripty Thanks - Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week

Hi!
This is the last day of Lawn Fawn May Inspiration week and tomorrow is the big day when everything will be available to purchase, also you will see the complete release with the stuff that we're going to feature on June.

But for today, the star of the show is a die, Scripty Thanks, it's from the same series as the Scripty Hello die and I love that font!

For my first card I combined it with some more stuff from the new release: Life is Good stamp set and Stitched Party Banners.
I created the background stamping the waves, then coloring the stripes with watercolors and a plain brush and finally I added some distress inks to the edges.

I made a second card just for fun and because I wanted to try heat embossing the die cut, I did it two times to achieve more dimension and it's really cool!! The background and heart are colored with watercolors and die cut with dies from Stitched Party Banners.

Don't forget to visit Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, a video and a giveaway!

Hope you enjoyed all these week's projects! I really had so much fun making them :) Have a great day!!
