Welcome little one - Avery Elle project

Hi again!
I have another project to share with you today, a card using "Storybook", a stamp set from the latest Avery Elle release. Like it name says it's full of lovely images with a dreamy feel like they were from a book's story. I really love this set!!

I used this set last week to create a "make a wish" card so this week I wanted to make something different, something delicate and soft, a baby card. And I think that this little deer was the perfect choice because he's soooo cute!!

I colored the background with distress inks after heat embossing on white the trees from "Let it Snow". Because I wanted very soft tones, I used my white distress paint dauber all over it and then I adhered it to the base card with a layer of vellum.

Don't forget to visit the Avery Elle blog and check out what Caryn has for you, her cards are amazing!!

I hope you feel inspired! Thanks for visiting! Hugs and have a great week!

Supply list:
- Avery Elle stamps: Storybook, Let it Snow
- Distress inks: Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick
- Distress paint dauber: Picket Fence
- Versamark ink
- White embossing powder
- Lawn Fawn twine: Silver sparkle
- Copic markers

Guest designing with Avery Elle - Let it Snow

Hi!
I hope your week is being a great one! Today I have another card ti share using Avery Elle stamps. The other day I used Let it Snow stamp set for a Halloween card so I wanted to use it for a Winter one too because I loooove the sentiments in this set.

I heated embossed the snow and trees on the base of the card and then colored it with distress inks, creating an ombre sky. For an extra Holidays feeling I sprayed some perfect pearls all over the background but you couldn't see it in this pic :(
Finally I adhered the red birds and the diagonal pieces of cardstock with the stamped sentiment. I wanted some dimension so I adhered the white cardstock pieces with liquid glue on the edges but I used foam adhesive on the "window".

I hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Supply list:
- Avery Elle stamps: Let it Snow
- Distess inks: Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers
- Versafine ink: Onyx Black
- Memento ink: Tuxedo Black

Winter in the Park - Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

Hi again!
Welcome to another post of the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week! Today the star of the show is Winter in the Park, a super pretty 3x4" set perfect for Winter/Christmas scenes but also for all-year park scenes!
Of course, I wanted to use it to make a winter-y scene :) It looks so peaceful... I love it!

I made a card with a panel that you can open pulling on the snowflake tab to see the background and sentiment.
I'm not going to lie, this card was hard to make, this one was my unique attempt but I made some mistakes, I'm always afraid when all the scene is masking and stamping, it's easier to place everything when you have cutout images!

And if you open it...

I also used glossy accents, stickles and embossing powder but it's hard to see it in the photos but here's a closer look:

Hope you like it, it's a lovely set, isn't it? I needed to add a pair of red birds from Making Frosty Friends that really pop on the card :)

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration from the other DT members, a video from Kelly and a giveaway!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs!

Lawn Fawn + Faber Castell week

Hello there!
This week the design team of Lawn Fawn is teaming up with Faber-Castell. And I've been playing with a Mixed Media metallic set and I had so much fun that I made two projects!

My first project is a CAS card. I stamped everything on watercolor paper inking my stamps with the artist pens and then I colored the stars with the art grip aquarelle pencils and blended with water :)

For my second project I decorated a mini book where I'll write my favorite holiday recipes. Loved the idea of some sugar cookies on a baking trail hee hee!
I dyed the ribbon using golden gelatos and water. Then I colored the baking tray (a piece of black cardstock) with the silver art grip aquarelle pencil and water and when it dried, I drawed the border line with the artist pen. The cookies are colored with gelatos and aquarelle pencil + water.

I hope you like my projects for today!! Thanks for stopping by :)

A very fawny holiday - Stamp on a candle

Hi!
This week Lawn Fawn is celebrating a special holiday inspiration week full of fun stuff: projects using all their Christmas stamps and papers, videos, giveaways... Sounds great, right? ;)

Today I'm joining the celebrations with a video showing how to stamp on a candle. Well, when you see the video you will notice that you don't stamp on the candle but, ok, the stamped image its on the candle in the end :P

Please, visit Lawn Fawn blog to take a look on my video! I hope you enjoy it and you try the technique, it's pretty easy and it makes a perfect gift for Christmas :)

Tip: If you want to work with colored candles, make sure you use a candle completely made of that color. I've realized that there are a lot of colored candles that only have a bath of color. I only stamped on two colored candles: The red one on the video and the green one using And a Partidge for the Inspiration Week so I don't have a lot of experience but I've learned that the final result is better when the candle is completely colored, the one in the video has a bath of red, but is white in its core, you can see it on the bottom of the candle.

About if you can burn the candle... I found on the Internet that the answer is yes! BUT I'm testing it, I will share my inquiries with you soon ;) Anyway, never leave a burning candle unattended!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Lawn Fawn & Marker Pop

Hi!!
Today Lawn Fawn and Marker Pop are teaming up to feature Lawn Fawn stamps and Copic Markers, thats a great combo, right?!

Copics are usually the coloring medium on my cards so I wanted to make something new for me and I colored the sky on the scene with copics too. Also I created a fake patterned paper coloring Neenah Solar White cardstock with YG03 and drawing some lines with YG17. I think it's an easy way to macth an image when you don't have an aproppiate paper.

These are the copics I've used:
Reds: R22, R24, R29
Sky: B0000, BG11 and colorless blender
Trees and fake patterned paper: YG21, YG03, YG17
Santa's belt: Y35, YR04
Santa's face: E41, E51, R20

If you have any question, just leave a comment or send me an email! :)

Supply list:
Lawn Fawn stamps: Let it snow, Hats off to you, Gone sweet gnome, Bannerific, Harold's ABCs and Sweet Christmas.
Neenah cardstock: Solar White and Desert Sand
Versamark ink and white embossing powder

Don't forget to visit Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, the DT girls have amazing projects for sure!
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you're having a great week :)
