I'm on Iron Craft Season 2!! (video interview!!)

Hi there!!

Today I have something extra special for you!

Chaitali Narla from Cuts, Crops & Creativity invited me to join her amazing Iron Craft Season 2 series. Each episode features a crafter and some goodies. Both, Chaitali and the crafter, play with the same supplies to create a card. And there's a video interview!!
I was super excited reading her email until I read "video interview" lol then I sent her an email explaining that I'm Spanish and that it would be a disaster because even when I read and write English everyday... I never practice my spoken English!
Well, she encouraged me and I was "brave" enough to do it. Just a moment before the interview started I was thinking about running away, I was soooo nevous!!
I hope you enjoy the interview and I hope I can at least brigthen your day a little when you see me trying to speak :)

Here's my card, we both used Critters Ever After from Lawn Fawn

I created the background blending soft pink and orange distress inks, more distress inks for the grass and then I stamped and colored the images with Copics and fussy cut them.

Finally, I added subtle shimmer here and there with my Wink of Stella clear pen (a gift from my sweet bf!).

I had a lot of fun making the card, the interview and I laughted a lot seeing the video. And the most important, I've met a great, sweet and fun new friend, thanks Chaitali :)

Hey, there's also a giveaway so don't forget to comment on Chaitali's blog post for a chance to win!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, have a great Monday!!

Cinderella's wish - Lawnscaping challenge #49

Hi!!
This is the first Lawnscaping challenge of the year and we're celebrating Lawnscaping's birthday too so, is there any better challenge than "let's party" for the occassion? As this is a special challenge I'd love that you join us!!

I've made this card inspired by Cinderella's tale. I used a lot of stamps to create the magical scene and I think that a little girl would love it!

The little dots and splashes are from Perfect Pearls Mist, it gives a nice shiny look but I couldn't photograph the shine and it looks a bit weird... I hope you like it, anyway!

I've also decorated the inside of the card. I don't do this very often and I don't know why because I think it's really lovely and little surprise for the receiver :)

Our sponsor in this challenge is Simon Says Stamp so you could win a $25 gift certificate to their store. Isn't that great? ;)

Thanks for stopping by, have an amazing week!!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Critters Ever After, Critters on the Farm, Hats of to You, Sweet Christmas and Harvest Season
- Memento ink: Tuxedo Black

Operation Write Home - Cards for kids

Hi friends!
This week Lawn Fawn is teaming up with Operation Write Home to make cards for children. Operation Write Home is an organization that sends blank handmade cards to deployed service members so they can write home to their families. They need more cards dedicated to children, so go to your craft room and make some for this sweet purpose!

It has to be hard for a kid having a loved one so far so I made this card thinking about bringing a big smile to a little girl's face on her birthday and you know, Lawn Fawn has the perfect stamps for this!! :)

For the sentiment, I stamped it twice, the first one with orange ink and the second one with versamark ink, then I heat embossed it. I love how it looks!

Hop on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see more cards from the DT members, and check out this post and join the fun, you can win some amazing stuff!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration week - Check this out

Welcome again!
Today is the last day of the Lawn Fawn inspiraion week, tomorrow the giveaways winners will be revealed so you have still time to comment on the Lawn Fawn blog for a lot of chances to win!

The DT girls are featuring a cool 4x6 set this time, "Check this out". This is a perfect set to go with the paper line, Dewey Decimal and it's all about books and the library, I love it!

So as we are still in Summer, I used Dewey Decimal in a more summery way, combining the aqua and teal with lime cardstock to make a card with surprise ;)
I wanted to make a bookmark and I tought it would be great to give someone a card with a book that include a bookmark and here is what I came up with!

The bookmark is "hidden" in the card, and its visible part is actually the back of the bookmark. You can easily remove the bookmark from the card to use it.

For the front side, I used a paper from Dewey Decimal as background and stamped different images from different Lawn Fawn sets. I wanted to alluding to all the different stories you could find in a book. I really hope you like it! :)

For the back side, I stamped the background of the bookmark with the book in the set, and added "this book belongs to" to customize it with the person's name.

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more wonderful inspiration projects and comment there for a chance to win!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week - Hoppy Halloween

Hi friends! :)

The excitement continues today with another Lawn Fawn release, this time we're featuring a cute mini set, Hoppy Halloween. Even when Halloween is not very popular in Spain, I love it, all the decorations, the costumes, the bright colors... and of course, the stamps! ;)

So I've made a card with a spooky cute Halloween scene. This little vampire rabbit, Bunnicula, is sucking the juice out of all the carrots and wishing you a "Hoppy Halloween"! hee hee

I used other sets to complete the scene. I wanted a castle for our cute little vampire and then I thought: I have the perfect one! The castle of Critters Ever After colored in dark tones is a perfect spooky castle, don't you think?

The other elements are from Happy Haunting, a set that I totally love <3

I hope you like my little scene! Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for amazing inspirating inspiration and a cool giveaway!!

And please, come back tomorrow, we will be featuring another stamp set :)

Supply list:

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week - Belinda's Borders

Hi and welcome to another Lawn Fawn inspiration week!
First of all, sorry for not posting lately. I had some cards to share but I've been very bussy due to work and one of my dogs having surgery, he's happy and recovered now :)

But you're here to see what I've made with Belinda's Borders, right? ;) This set is one of those super versatile and must have sets. As soon as I received it, more ideas have been coming to my mind on how to use it!

So I made two cards :)
The first one is a happy card featuring the stamps of the set as background / stamped patterned paper makers. I used almost all the stamps on the sets (except the hearts one) to make a card that could be used to welcome a new neighbour, for example.

On the second card I used one of the stamps to make a frame (I drawed the inside square by hand with a white gel pen)

I hope you like what I came up with! For more inspiration please visit Lawn Fawn blog and the other DT member's blogs, they're amazing! :)
Hey, and don't forget to comment on the Lawn Fawn blog to win this set!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week - Dad's Day

Hi! :)
Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a new set! This is a 4"x3" set dedicated to Dad's Day and it's perfect for all masculine cards!

When I saw this set I thought: Awww a bow and a tie, how cute for a couple!! So I needed to make this card as an example of using this set for different occasions than Father's Day :)

A closer look... :)

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn sets: "Dad's Day", "Teeny Tiny Backdrops", "Grand Greetings" and "Critters Ever After" (and another new set :P)
- Lawn Fawn paper: "Bright Side"
- Echo Park paper: "Soda Fountain"
- Hero Arts inks: "Splash", "Bubble Gum" and "Stone Wash"
- Googly eyes
- White embossing powder and Versamark ink
- Martha Stewart's scoring board

I also used the moustache included in this set on this card for Memorial Day's OWH blog hop.

Then, I wanted to make a little project to feature the set for Father's Day, so I made this super simple tag in the last moment, very easy to mass produce. To stamp the tie, I stamped first using the lighter color, then masked the little stripes and stamped again using the darker color.

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn sets: "Dad's Day"
- Memento ink: "Grape Jelly"
- Jenni Bowlin ink: "Lavender Sachet"
- Purple twine

To see more projects using this set, visit the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment for a chance to win it!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, I have another project for tomorrow featuring another new Lawn Fawn set ;)

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week - Sunny Skies

Welcome!!
So today starts May inspiration week and we are featuring a cute set that is already one of my favorites. It's bright, happy and versatile, I LOVE it! The sentiments are big and gorgeous and, what about that smiley faces? So cute!!

I have lots of ideas in my head for making cards with this set but I finally made this card because I wanted to try distress inks with water and because I want to show you how to stamp that cute moon using this set. The stars are from Bake me a Cake and Critters Ever After.

I colored it using Distress Inks, I stamped the pad on an acrylic block, added water with a brush and colored with it.

Here's how the moon looked before I cut it (sorry, it's a phone pic). First, stamp the sun, then ink the sun again and clean the ink from the sun's radiance, or use a marker to ink only the circle. Finally, stamp one of the smiley faces and you're done :)
I hope you like it!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I have another card for tomorrow using another new set ;)

Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog to see more projects using this set (the DT girls really rock!) and comment for a chance to win it, it's a must have!

Wish Big - OWH card

Hi there!
I can smell the excitement in the air!! A new Lawn Fawn inspiration week has started and there are seven new amazing sets that will be released on May 31st!! Don't miss the Big Giveaway post on Lawn Fawn's blog to see some sneaky hints of the new sets and participate on the giveaways!

Tomorrow we will be featuring one of the new sets but today Lawn Fawn is participating on an Operation Write Home blog hop so I made a card for the hop and I've used one of the new stamps on it, yep!! That cool moustache!! Isn't it totally awesome? To see the full set you'll have to wait a few days... :P

I stamped the chevron stamp on a light blue cardstock and colored them with a copic to create a patterned paper, then I used it on the rosette and the little star.
Another useful thing I came up with is that you can color the alpha stickers to match your card, I colored  the coral ones with a dark pink copic to match my patterned paper :) I hope you like it!

Please visit the Lawn Fawn blog to see all the cards from other DT memebers, read all the details about this hop and Operation Write Home, and participate sending your cards :)

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: "Chevron Backdrops", "Claire's ABCs", "Critters Ever After" and a new stamp set :P

Past Sunday was Mother's Day in Spain because we celebrate it the first Sunday in May but I made my homework (using Wikipedia) and I know that it's celebrated the second Sunday in May in lot of places like the United States and Australia so my card is not necessarily late! hehe
Actually there are Mother's days all year long all over the world!

Let's go with the card. I had this idea and it seemed cool and funny in my mind but I think I'm not very happy with the final result... the colors, the patterns, the sketch... I don't know why! At least, I love the sparkling purple eggs, lol

Anyway I decided to share it because maybe it serves as inspiration for you in some way :)

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs!

I know my scene doesn't look at a scene at all but... What else is in the outer space than planets, stars and aliens? :P
I used the octopus from Critters in the Sea, removed the ink on the eyes and stamped it, colored with copics and then I added a big googly eye. I'm in love with that cute little alien haha

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Critters Ever After

The first set we are featuring this week is "Critters Ever After". This is a super cute and fun set I LOVE each one of its stamps: the unicorn, griffin, dragon, frog, castle and all the little addons like the magic wand! :)
I'm very happy about featuring this set as my first DT member project because I absolutely love it! It's super cute! And it's very versatile too, obviously is perfect for all kind of cards for a little girl but also for a boy or even love cards!

I decided to make a card using the dragon stamp and the mirror stamping technique to create a shaker card with two dragons faceing each other: A fire dragon and an ice dragon. How cool is that? You can use the dragon and color it with different colors to have different kinds of dragons, kids would love that!

So, here is my card :)

And here is a closer look, the card is "shaked" in this one ;)

I hope you like it! I see myself using this set a lot in the future! If you have any questions just send me an email or leave me a comment :)
