25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi there!!

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to all my american friends, I hope you don't be too stressed with preparations and enjoy your day :)

Today I'm joining a fun event with some of the Lawn Fawn and Lawnscaping girls: 25 Days of Christmas Tags organized by Tracey from http://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.ca/
It's Day 25 so don't miss all the amazing tags shared by Tracey during these days, there are a TON of inspiration there!!

Here's the tag I made:

Not only you can find lots of inspiration for your Christmas tags on Tracey's blog, there are also a lot of prices because this cool event is sponsored by a lot of amazing companies so don't forget to take a look and comment there to win ;)

Thanks for stopping by, have a nice day!

You're so sweet - Lawnscaping challenge #86

Happy Monday!!
How was your weekend? Mine was rainy lol but I enjoyed it anyways and we started to plan our holiday camping trip, I hope the weather will great to go to the beach but if not, we can visit new places :)

But I'm here today for another reason that sharing my plans ;) It's Monday and we have a new Lawnscaping challenge for you!! A really fun one, do you love playing with watercolors? Because I do!!

I had fun making and coloring my card even when it's really simple. It's almost a one layer card and I love that fun watercolor polka dot background, I really felt like a child while coloring it. Also, I'm happy of having used Sally's ABCs for my sentiment, it's a really pretty alphabet and it was a long time since I used it for the last time.

You are so sweet

Check the other DT members' projects, they are amazing! And join us this time, it will be fun, I tell you! If you don't own watercolors you can have a lot of options to use and achieve the same look: distress inks, distress markers, watercolor pencils, ink refills... I used cheap watercolors for children and I love them hehehe :)

We're sponsored by Lawn Fawn so you could be the winner of a stamp set of your choice! <3

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a nice day!!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Here's the Scoop, Bannerific, Sally's ABCs

Happy New Year - Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

Hello!
So this Lawn Fawn inspiration week is coming to an end but we have still some stuff to share! Today we're featuring two mini sets, Happy New Year and Winter Sparrows. My projects use Happy New Year but I'll share soon something using Winter Sparrows too, I love that mini set!!

I made a card and a bottle holder to celebrate New Year and I mixed the Happy New Year stamp set with the fireworks from Happy 4th because they're perfect for any big celebration, aren't they?
Of course, some golden ink and sequins were the perfect touch ;)

And if you're wondering, I didn't use any die for the bottle holder so I'll share a little how to (with horrible pics lol) so you can make one, it's easy peasy!

Note: I lost the pic of the first step (sorry, I'm a mess!!) but it's the same I did here but I used a plain circle die instead of the scalloped circle die, with the diameter of the circle die equal to the width of the paper stripe.

Then, I just die cut a smaller circle, scored a line and cut the banner. If you have any questions just ask in a comment or send me an email, I <3 emails!! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments during all the week, they make me smile!! Don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, a video showing both mini sets and a giveaway!

A Good Apple - Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week

Hola!
The fun continues today with Lawn Fawn Release Week and we're featuring another new set, yes, finally a school set!! And it's awesome!! With the chalkboard trend I know I'm going to used this cute chalkboard for more occassions than school-related cards :)

So I created a custom patterned paper with the elements of the set and used it for a gift bag and a 4x4 card. I wanted to have a black and green chalkboard so I didn't make them match but they would be super cute as a coordinating set as well.

For the gift bag, to match the sentiment, I created a big rule using Sally's ABCs numbers

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for all the nice comments, they really brighten my day!! For more inspiration, a video and giveaway, visit the Lawn Fawn blog!!

Halloween leftovers

Hi!!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! I've been on a trip all week with my boyfriend, we were visiting Budapest, Hungary so even when I made some Halloween projects in advance, a cause of some technical issues and lack of time I couldn't post them and I missed Halloween!! >.<

I took photos of 3 projects and I have other 3 not completely finished that I'll not share this time. It's a whole year until next Halloween so I can't wait so long to share the ones I have photos of. I hope you enjoy them :)

The first project I want to show you is a card that you have propably seen on Lawn Fawn blog this week. We teamed up with Scrapbook Adhesives and created a project using their products. I must say I've never used them before and I totally love them! Love the thinner 3D foam dots combined with the normal ones to create a lot of dimension. I also love the little glue dots, they're super useful!

So I made a Halloween card combining lots of Lawn Fawn sets. I really enjoy doing this!! Here are a pair of phone pics of how I made the owl. I masked all the owl except from the scarf and stamped the little stars from Critters Ever After.

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: Winter owl, Hats off to you, A birdie told me, Critters Down Under, Critters Ever After, Happy Everything and Belinda's Borders
- Lawn Fawn Retro trimmings
- Scrapbook Adhesives
- Doodlebug Design papers: Haunted Manor 6x6 pad
- Memento inks: Tuxedo Black and Grape Jelly
- Googly Eyes
- Copics

My second project features a Deasy Designs stamp set. The sad news is that the clear stamps from this company are no longer available but you can purchase it as a digital stamp here.

Well, I made a set of Halloween treat bag toppers, and I love them! I used a lit of the images in the set following the same scheme for the four different toppers. I LOVE the spooky skyline so I clear embossed it to create my background, then I colored with copics some of the images and place them with foam adhesives. I added some googly eyes here and there for more fun!

Supply list:
- Deasy Designs stamps: Boo to You
- Doodlebug Design papers: Haunted Manor 6x6 pad
- Copics
- May Arts ribbon
- Bazzil Card Shoppe colored cardstock
- Googly Eyes
- Scrapbook Adhesives: 3D foam dots and adhesive runner
- Versafine ink: Onyx Black
- Versamark ink and clear embossing powder

My third project is a fun card full of googly eyes and glitter! I used glue dots from Scrapbook Adhesives to place all those eyes super quicky!

- Googly eyes
- Doodlebug Design papers: Haunted Manor 6x6 pad

Guest designer - Lawnscaping challenge #30

Hi!
Some time ago I received an email from the sweet Laurel inviting me to join this challenge as guest designer... Yay! Of course I want to join! Lawnscaping is my all-time favorite challenge and is the place where I was born as crafter so it's a big honor joining those wonderful girls :)

This time, the challenge is about making a project inspired by another crafter and it's a lot of fun thinking how you could change a card from another person, what techniques were used or how something is made. I had a really fun time thinking about all that! So please join us! I'd love to see all your cards ;)

Lawn Fawn is sponsoring this challenge so you know what this means... you could choose one of the new amazing stamp sets if you're chosen as winner!

This is my card, can you guess who made the original one? I hope so!

Please check the original card by Chari :)

I love her Halloween card! It's cute and the background is gorgeous. But it isn't time for Halloween cards so I converted it into a Spring card. I tried to make an opposite card keeping the original idea, so I used soft colors instead bright ones, black embossing powder instead of white embossing powder and patterned papers instead of black cardstock. I hope you all like it, but especially Chari because I know her original card is a challenge winner and it's hard to make justice to such an amazing card :)

Be sure you check out the Lawnscaping blog for all the challenge info as well as all the DT members blogs for more inspiration. Chari is guest designing too and there are 2 new additions to the DT!

Supply list:
- Lawn Fawn stamps: "Lunar Lights", "Critters in the 'burbs" and "Sally's ABCs"
- Distress inks: "Tumbled Glass" and "Shabby Shutters"
- Yellow twine
- BLack embossing powder and Versamark ink
- American Crafts 6x6 paper pack: Dear Lizzy Neapolitan
